Does this make sense? It's just like how red plastic filters block blue light but let red light through. And vice versa. The difference is we can't see infrared light with our human eyes. #jigglephysics #infrared #thermalcamera

LIGHT IS NOT JUST ENERGY. LIGHT IS INFORMATION. Dr. Jack Kruse teaches that the human body is designed to communicate with light especially red and near-infrared wavelengths that interact directly with our mitochondria. Modern life keeps us indoors, under artificial lighting, disconnected from the natural light spectrum our biology expects. This disconnect shows up as: Chronic inflammation Acne & skin imbalance Poor sleep quality Slower cellular repair Red light therapy helps restore that missing signal. The Vital Red Light panel delivers targeted red and near-infrared light that supports: Cellular Regeneration Reduced Inflammation Skin Clarity & Rejuvenation Deeper, More Restorative Sleep This isn't about trends. This is about biology, circadian rhythm, and mitochondrial health.

Red light from sunlight doesn’t just feel good — it literally charges your mitochondria like tiny batteries. Andrew Huberman explains: Long-wavelength red & near-infrared light penetrates the body, supports mitochondrial function, and gets absorbed by the water surrounding them — the same way oceans absorb red light and reflect blue. “Mini oceans” inside every cell get a boost from sunlight exposure. 29 seconds that make you rethink your morning routine. How often do you get natural morning sunlight — and have you noticed any difference in energy or mood when you do?

Glen Jeffery studies red & infrared light at UCL. Here's what he has on his desk: Two 100W incandescent bulbs on a dimmer switch. When asked what people should do to get more red & infrared: "I go back to the same point every time. Sunlight. Go out in sunlight." Even if it's cloudy — there's loads of infrared light. It bounces around more because it gets bounced around by water in the atmosphere. Trees reflect it too — that's why leaves feel cool on a hot day even in direct sun. And if you're spending long hours indoors: "Spend £10 on Amazon. Buy a dimmer switch and a 100W incandescent light bulb. Run it at quarter power. It'll last forever. It'll give you vast amounts of infrared light. And it will counteract the negative side you get from your blue LEDs. It works. We've done it." When the leading researcher studying red & infrared light professionally uses 100W incandescents at his desk not a panel — that tells you something. Nature is always the first option. A 100W incandescent on a dimmer is the second.

MUST WATCH HEALTH VIDEO: “How Living Indooors Accelerates Disease Generation and Cancer” I promise this video will give you an “aha” moment. In this video you’ll see with your own eyes how indoor living and sunlight through windows causes… Red and infrared light deficiency Blue light toxicity UV light spectrum alteration Low lux circadian rhythm disruption 90% of the average persons day is spent indoors. This is very bad for health. You must take multiple outside sun breaks during the day as well as open your windows. In this video lesson you will see with your own eyes how windows expose you to an artificial spectrum of light that, when compared to natural sunlight, accelerate disease generation and cancer. Retweeet this one now if you can because it’s one of the most important videos I’ve ever made even though off the cuff rambling and incomplete lol….

Gary Brecka revealed why red light therapy is a game-changer. Your mitochondria can produce 2 units of energy… or 36 units. Red light kicks out nitric oxide and forces oxygen in, giving you a 16x boost in cellular energy. He calls it a literal battery charger for your cells. I’ve been using it consistently and the difference in energy and recovery is legit. We obsess over food and supplements, but we’re sleeping on how much specific wavelengths of light can upgrade how our bodies actually produce energy. Have you tried red light therapy, or are you still skeptical?

Andrew Huberman just explained why the switch from old incandescent bulbs to modern LEDs might be quietly messing with our biology. Short-wavelength light (blue/green) dominates LEDs and screens. Long-wavelength light (red/infrared) — the kind that reaches deeper into the body — is largely missing. He cited work from Glenn Jeffery’s lab at University College London showing that long-wavelength light improves mitochondrial function, boosts ATP production, blunts blood glucose spikes, and can even improve vision. Incandescent bulbs and sunlight naturally provide this balance; LEDs do not. Long-wavelength light is absorbed by water in mitochondria, enhancing electron transport chain efficiency and reducing oxidative stress. Studies show improved glucose regulation and mitochondrial performance when red/infrared exposure is added, especially in the absence of excessive short-wavelength light at night. Huberman isn’t anti-LED, but he’s clear: our modern environment is short-wavelength heavy and long-wavelength deficient, and that mismatch may be contributing to metabolic and sleep issues, particularly in younger generations glued to screens. Have you noticed a difference in energy, sleep, or focus when you get more natural sunlight versus heavy indoor LED/screen exposure? Or do you still think the light itself is a minor factor compared to content? Your thoughts 👇

Beyond politics. Beyond labels. Bigger than blue vs red. I believe this is a battle between light and dark. And we can choose the light. Not by turning on each other, but by rejecting hate and fear, and choosing discernment, compassion and accountability.

🌙: Which color do you like? Do you like red? We don't have red. There’s only pink and light blue. 🌀: *points at the light blue one* 🌙: Okay, light blue. 🎙️: Jummo picked light blue! One, two, three—where should we put it? 🌙: The hair clip has to go in his hair. *hair clip hanging* It’s weird... so let’s put it on his head instead. 🎙️: Okay, so cute~ 🌙: Let’s put two on him. Even with hair clips on, he can still look “dangerous” too. 🌀: *poses*

Dr. Jack Kruse just revealed how blue light causes skin cancer. He says the proof is in how we treat people with severe burns. Kruse is a neurosurgeon who says when burn surgeons or doctors treat burn victims, they use blue light directly on the wound. "You put blue light on a burn victim, you know what it does? It stimulates the skin to grow faster." That same mechanism is exactly what makes blue light dangerous under normal conditions. Cancer is uncontrolled cell growth. Blue light triggers rapid cell division. On a burn wound that's helpful. On healthy skin every day for years, it's a problem. • Your laptop emits blue light • Your phone screen emits blue light • The LED bulbs in your ceiling emit blue light Kruse says incandescent bulbs naturally offset this because they contain UV and red light alongside the blue. Those bulbs are being banned completely by 2028. The frequency that causes cancer is in every room you enter. The frequency that counteracted it is being legislated out of existence. — Dr. Jack Kruse (Dr. Jack Kruse Decentralized Medicine Maxi 🔆) on the Danny Jones (Danny Jones) podcast PS: If interested in content like this, follow me as I continue sharing unconventional health insights you won't find anywhere else on X.

Joe Rogan ditched his reading glasses after using red light therapy. Gary Brecka shared this on Diary of a CEO — after a few weeks with a full red light bed, Rogan’s eyesight improved so noticeably he no longer needs readers. And that’s just the beginning. Brecka explained the science: specific red and near-infrared wavelengths (photobiomodulation) enter your mitochondria, kick out nitric oxide, and force oxygen in. This jumps cellular energy production from 2 ATP per cycle… to 36. Sixteen times more efficient. The ripple effects hit inflammation, skin, brain health, and recovery hard.

THE CONTRASTING EFFECTS OF BLUE AND RED/NIR LIGHT ON THE MITOCHONDRIA. - Recent research published this year in Nature: Scientific Reports demonstrates the effects that light in the built environment has on human health. Our modern build environment is dominated by short-wavelength light from LEDs and fluorescent lighting. This can have deleterious effects on the mitochondria. Adding to this effect is the lack of long-wavelength light from sources like the sun and incandescent lighting bulbs. These long light wavelengths have a beneficial effect on mitochondria function and overall human health. The lack of them in our modern built environment, seems to be impacting public health in a delirious fashion. Two recent papers to read: 1. 2.

If NMIXX song "Red light sign, but we go" were people, would you date them? Sullyoon: Hey, it's absolutely impossible. No one could understand them, obviously;;; Crossing the street on a red light is a violation of traffic laws. And I feel like... they’d do a lot of other... dangerous things too, so (yikes;;;) I don't think it would work out. NSWERs, make sure you only cross the street on a green light.

Here’s how to ACTUALLY block blue light on your iPhone, most of the apps are actually just filtering a narrow spectrum. This method puts it into pure red light mode. This hack has helped my sleep immeasurably. Step 1: Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size > Color Filters Step 2: Turn on color filter > Check “Color Tint” Step 3: Slide the “Intensity” and “Hue” bars all the way to the right (this is maximum red and filters all blue light) Step 4: Go back two screens to “accessibility” then click “Accessibility Shortcut” Step 5: Check “Color Filters” - this turns on the “triple click” function that allows for easy On/Off for this setting How to use: Follow the sun - do not turn off the red light filter until you have consumed true natural red light from the sun in the AM for at least 10-15 mins. I usually wait well into the morning and after my morning outdoor walk before I triple click back to “normal view” Once dusk hits, so too should your red light filter return. So in the winter, that’s like 6p where I live… Ideally, you are not consuming screens at least 2 hours before bed for max circadian support. But if you must, make sure you are at least using this one quick easy technique. Our modern tech lives lead to an absolute decimation of our circadian rhythms, which subsequently leads to all sorts of detrimental impacts like low T, insulin resistance, fat gain, and thyroid dysfunction, amongst many others. Follow Zaid K. Dahhaj and Abud Bakri MD for much deeper analysis on these topics.

Your phone can detect hidden cameras. TV remotes emit infrared light that your phone’s camera can see (even though your eyes can’t). Open your camera in selfie mode and slowly scan a hotel room, restroom, or any unfamiliar space. If you spot a bright red or purple flash, it may be a hidden camera’s IR light reflecting back. That’s your cue to leave and contact the authorities.
