Yes it does. Write it down in the red book (if they still do such a thing) as it is an important milestone. One of my sons crawled backwards before he got the forwards movement down.

Definitely! My nephew commando-crawled before learning a proper crawl later on. My son went straight from crawling to cruising to walking in the space of 3 months. Babyproof like your life depends on it, NOW! 😅
