Growing up my mom used to sweep the cat. The cat was annoyed by the noise but seemed to like the air rushing through her fur. On the other hand, my current boy cat hopped up on the dormant shop vac and sat down on the power button, turning it on. That turned out to be a significant emotional event for him.
