DEA has never recommended marijuana be moved to SIII. Health and Human Services made the initial recommendation and the AG signed the prelim rule without anyone from DEA signing off.

Current administration really dragging their heels on this. The delay has already pivoted swing voters away from republicans, they had flipped based on S3 but just the same old democratic play of over promise and deliver nothing
