If Trump can bypass the governor and activate the National Guard to put down protests on immigrant rights, he can do it to suppress your rights, too. If he can deploy the Marines to Los Angeles without justification, he can deploy them to your state, too. And if he can ignore due process, strip away first amendment rights, and disappear people to foreign prisons without their day in court, he can do it to you, too. Because California is just a test case for the rest of the country.

I mean, every time he sees a female journalist, he personally attacks her. He sued the WSJ. He attacks CNN and every single company with lawsuits. Of course Mike Pence refused to endorse Donald Trump for President. It's because Trump believes that he, himself, is more important than the Constitution. Trump has shown over and over again that he doesn't respect the Constitution. The fact that his own Vice President is telling people this, should be a stark warning about what a second Trump presidency will be. If Trump returns to the Oval Office he will make sure that everyone in his administration is a loyalist who won't question or stand up against him, even in a circumstance where he is violating the law. Pence knows this. Democrats know this. I believe that everyone who Republicans call "RINOs" know this. Everyone who doesn't put Trump over the Constitution is either a Democrat or a RINO according to MAGA. Am I wrong?

McFaul: But we keep talking about Trump wants to do a deal to end the war. I'm not so sure that's true. I think he wants to do a deal with Putin. And the Ukraine thing is kind of a sideshow. If doesn’t work out, Trump doesn't really care because there's no other way to explain all of the concessions that he has already given to Putin even before any negotiation. So that suggests to me that, in fact, he actually is not trying to negotiate a deal. He's trying to nurture a relationship with Vladimir Putin.
