Whatever happened to good old fashioned mechanics that worked for solid contact now all we hear is launch angle. This is Why batting .300 is is eye popping now.

This is just common sense. You have to drop your hands to launch angle a ball. You simply don’t have time to go down and back up again with your hands on pitches north of 85 mph.
