🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. I keep worrying, “What if they don’t want to talk to me?” So I don’t dare to start a conversation or say too much. But my friend told me, 'Just go for it! You never know if they want to talk to you or not. Sure, it might feel a little awkward or funny if it turns out they don't want to talk with you, but that's how you get closer to people.' While I do have my issues with the Digital Circus finale, this one scene stuck out to me with incredible reliability. To me, this scene represents what my relationship with Christ has been at multiple times in my life. I had thoroughly convinced myself that I was undeserving of His love and acceptance, and that I’d rather be left alone to wallow in my own misery. Thankfully He didn’t give up on me, and loved me despite my past flaws and mistakes. That’s instantly where my mind went when watching this in the theater for the first time a couple weeks ago, and has continued to stick in my mind since. How blessed I am to have a Savior who will always come for me, to show me His love even when I’ve messed up and don’t deserve it. That kind of love is what pushes me to be more like Christ every day, and while I’m not perfect, I hope to do my best. 🥹

I was I was arrested on January 10 while reporting on a police raid on an Indigenous encampment in Edmonton. During the arrest of the camp’s leader I was targeted and told I had to leave the area. When I tried to assert my rights as a journalist, rights which have been upheld by high courts in two provinces, I was arrested and charged with obstruction. Dominique Alexander, the spokesperson for the Anthony family, is currently on a TikTok Live Answering Questions and Openly bragged about family members of Karmelo Anthony who “Antagonize” me. Ironically, while this Live was taking place, Kevin Hayes - Kayla’s brother and one of the first people to spread false claims that Karmelo was attacked, that his phone was broken, and other misinformation surrounding the case - was actively commenting on my report regarding the circle of attorneys now working for Karmelo. At one point during the live, a woman stated that they needed to be careful because I like to “attack” Karmelo Anthony supporters. Clearly, these people do not understand what the word “attack” means. I do not attack people. I report. I investigate. I expose information that is relevant to the public conversation. If information is publicly available, I will find it, verify it, and report it. That is called journalism and investigative reporting. If I don’t know the name of your dog by nightfall, I’m probably not doing my job. Meanwhile, these are the same people who have spent the last year harassing me, targeting my children, and spreading falsehoods about me while their advocates and supporters engaged in slander and defamation. The most telling moment came when Dominique laughed about how Kevin Hayes “antagonizes” me on my platforms. I am looking for an attorney. Defamation has consequences. And if I need to crowdsource for the funds, I will. Charleston White posted this an hour ago. It’s at 100k views and counting. The entire video spews lies about the Metcalf family and Austin. He mentioned my name at least 100 times. He fantasized about white people dylng, saying he wanted to watch white people get sh0t in real life. He called me a meth wh0re, told everyone I was on drugs, and said my information is coming from “someone from the inside.” I can’t even repeat everything he said without going against TOS on this platform. It’s bad. I want an attorney. And discovery will be revealing. He placed a target on me, my unborn child, and my family. I’m not going to stop reporting. But I’m also not going to sit here and continue to allow this libel to be spewed about me when viol*nt people are clearly involved.
