I love this video. This is why you do difficult things in front of your kids. They need to see what it's like to set a goal, to work for that goal, and to achieve it. As dads we should always strive to be getting better. Physically, mentally, financially, emotionally, spiritually. It's a lifelong journey which necessarily comes with struggle. And some of those struggles are meant to be private. But most of them don't need to be private. And they can actually serve as powerful lessons. So a reminder for myself as much as anyone else reading this: Don't shy away from showing your work. Talk about it. Talk about why it's important. Talk about where you're at now. Talk about what it took to get there, and talk about what's next. (Also check out the end of the video, which made me laugh out loud)

Listening to politicians talk about asylum seekers it sounds like their one & only purpose is to keep people out. Which of you is not too much of a coward to say: it is GOOD that people escape from danger. And it is GOOD that the UK can be a place of sanctuary, actually.

TIM DILLON on social media "not really being that fun anymore"💯💯 "Social media is no longer a hoot. It's not fun... [But] it's like us with the Iran war... You're like, how do I get out of it?" "Anyone meeting any new friends? Anyone having any goofs on social media? No" "Nobody's excited to go on social media. Nobody wakes up and goes on their phone and they're like, hooray, I'm on the phone" "what I mean to say here is that social media for whatever it was intended for, this is not like a fun thing anymore for anyone. No one's like excited, nobody's on it being really pumped about being on it"

🗨️ Cellbit was mentioned on Katie B's stream! #CHAT: Are you going to collab with Cellbit? #KATIE: Here's the thing. I actually enjoyed meeting everybody. When I actually talk to people and meet them, I don't try and set up collabs because I really try my best to just talk to people, and be nice and get to know them, have fun while we're at the games. And Cellbit was fucking lit and amazing, he was so funny, but I didn't set up collabs with anybody. You know? I don't wanna be that person. I was trying to be present in the moment, W. So he was great! All of the people that I met, I didn't set one collab. (Telling you) right now 'cause I see a lot of people say that but everybody was great and amazing and beautiful and nice and friendly at the event, you see?

❤️‍🔥| Taylor speaks on how she thinks part of the job of entertainers is to be mirrors: “But as sort of entertainers, one of our main jobs, I think, is to be a mirror for people. You look into the art we make. You see yourself back. The way you feel about our art has a lot to do with the life experience that you're having at this point in time, and that's why I'm so happy I have so many different albums. Like, people will come up to me and be like, 'I didn't get reputation. I didn't understand what that was like. Now, five years later, it's my favorite record.' Or evermore, or something like that. And it is like, the fun of it, for us to create a mirror for people to look into…”

Elon Musk’s advice to young people: Try to learn as much as possible and enjoy life – but working is also part of enjoying life. “One thing is to err on the side of optimism, to be optimistic about the future. I think it's better to err on the side of being optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right. Your quality of life will be much better. I'm excited about the future. I'm confident the future will not be boring, let me put it that way. It's going to be very interesting and I think it's like most likely to be great. In terms of general advice, I guess I'd advise people to learn as much as possible. Read a lot of books, try a lot of things and I guess, enjoy life. But like working is also part of enjoying life, you know?” Interview with Andre Thierig / Tesla Giga Berlin, February 26, 2026

Devens: "...I wasn't getting much, and I was like wow, it's weird living in a house with someone who I think has real disdain for me." Drew: "She's flipped completely, like last week she was your best friend, like she really liked you." Devens: "I know, and I don't feel like I've really done anything to cause that flip so much. So that's why it was nice when we were out here [...] like that was a nice fun conversation." Drew: "It sucks because I feel like we're talking about the same thing over and over again, but I'm like she seems to be cooperative...and I don't want her to be alone all day." Devens: "No I know, she seems like, depressed." Drew: "A little bit, and then she talked about it earlier the day before like 'Yeah before I was in here I was depressed.' Like oh I don't want you to be like that—it doesn't seem like you are." Devens: "Right, it's like I don't want to bother you and make you hate it even more, but I feel like if I don't talk to you, that's weird. So I feel like we're in a good spot at this moment because when we were eating dinner it was nice." #BB28 #BBBitez

JD Vance: "My life is dude Totally transformed. I don't go to the grocery store anymore People go to the grocery store for me most of my meals like when I cook a meal It's like I love to cook actually a big baker I like to cook for my kids as a special occasion But I don't have to cook anymore because I've got an army of people who are willing to like cook me my food My life is so weird. I fly around on a 757 no more TSA lines for me and the kids It's so weird, but it can become the sort of thing that if you internalize it you start to be an entitled asshole."

Josh Allen explains how becoming a father has changed the way he handles the pressure of being a quarterback “I mean, I think, like I alluded to earlier, being my own worst critic, right? Sometimes I do get into a space of negative self-talk.” “But as you guys know with your kids, when you go home, they don't know anything about that. They don't care about that. They're just happy to see you.” “You know, that smile that hits their face when you walk into that door, there is nothing like it. Maybe it allows me to compartmentalize better of when I'm at work, it is all about work.” “When I step home, I can leave it at the door and be with my family and be a dad and be the best husband that I can be.” “So, I don't know. I think it just kind of sets a freshness, a newness, and it just kind of aligns with what else is going on in my professional career.”

"Binance will eventually be replaced by a social trading app, like a FOMO." Ran Neuner says social trading is the future of crypto "And I'm not saying it's going to be FOMO replacing Binance. I'm saying there's going to be a version of FOMO that's going to be so powerful, that is so much fun, because it combines the social network with the trading experience." "And when that happens, it's going to be just much more fun than trading on an exchange. Already, FOMO is more fun than trading on an exchange."

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on people forgetting the quality Arsenal already have: “That’s human nature, I think. When you talk to people and ask them, ‘What is on your bucket list?’ people write a lot about the bucket list. “And sometimes we forget the reverse bucket list, which is the things that you already have in your life that are incredible. “But you put so much emphasis on the next thing that nothing seems to be enough. It happens in life, and I think it’s very important to value what you have. “That’s what I said about the squad and how much I love our players. I really value what we have and what we have created together. “And then ambition is great. Let’s always have the ambition to be better, especially to evolve the players and the things that we already have within the club. “But let’s not lose perspective of what we already have, which is amazing, and we are very lucky to have them.”

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.
