Colt, like most hitters, cups his wrist and overuses his shoulders in the swing—and it kills consistency. Here’s what you guys don’t get: even the way you grip the bat is affecting everything you do. Barrel path, bat speed, contact… all of it. Every detail matters. But most of you won’t fix it—not because you can’t, but because you don’t train enough. You don’t get your reps in. You’re not in the cage every day cleaning it up. The players who actually improve are obsessed with the details. If that’s not you… good luck.

This is one of the greatest feelings a hitter will ever experience… and most players never learn it. This drill has nothing to do with mechanics. It has everything to do with execution. The pitcher mixes fastballs and slow balls. Your only two rules: ⚾ Slow pitch or spin? Don’t roll it over. ⚾ Fastball? Don’t pull it. Now you’re forced to recognize speed instead of guessing. You’re training your eyes, your timing, and your approach—not just your swing. This is one of my favorite two-strike drills because it teaches hitters to trust what they see instead of committing too early. A great swing is important. Knowing when to use it is what separates hitters. Train with an expert, not an influencer.

Most hitters think the stride works like this: Foot forward… back hip stays cocked, coiled, loaded whatever the term, then WHAM. I get it. Sounds cool. But the swing isn’t a Looney Tunes slingshot. For instance, a toe-tap stride, the whole system moves forward together — head, torso, and lower half toward the pitcher in sync. Look at the yellow lines. (Start to finish) The roof → spine → base all move forward into the position to fire. Where hitters get in trouble is when the foot goes forward but the head and torso stay back. Now they’re stuck on the backside… the front shoulder pops up and the barrel starts down too soon causing a steep swing with balls into the ground or missing under that one fastball. The stride isn’t just a step. It’s a controlled forward move of the whole system. Study the lines. Agree or disagree? ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer

LOVED watching Alan Dershowitz DESTROY the concept that the Democrat Party is “big tent: “They don’t have a wide tent. They wouldn’t let ME in! … They’re a totally intolerant party!” “I was the most popular teacher at Harvard … Harvard will NOT allow me to speak!” “They have a tiny, tiny, tiny tent! That’s why they’re so upset with Fetterman. They don’t want him within the party. They’d rather see him LEAVE the party.” “Don’t say you have a big tent when you are the most intolerant group in modern American history!” REPOST and amplify this man's voice! #thinblueline #lawenforcement

Tariffs were never meant to be a weapon. The original idea was reciprocal trade, if Switzerland hits an American product with an 8.3% VAT, we match it with an 8.3% tariff. That system worked for decades. But lately, tariffs have turned into tariff warfare, punitive moves like the 50% hit on Canada and Mexico, now sitting at 25% during a political standoff. That’s not strategy, that’s negotiation through pain. Here’s the problem, when you tariff things you don’t even produce, you’re not punishing the other country, you’re punishing Americans. Take potash as an example, it’s in Saskatchewan, we don’t have it. So a 25% tariff makes farmers pay more, which makes food cost more. Same with bananas, pineapples, aluminum inputs, all of it. Small businesses can’t absorb those costs, they pass them on, and the consumer gets hammered at the kitchen table.

Everything we want from an athlete after a tough loss. Stand up there, answer the questions, show that it sucks. Don’t have to be in a good mood—the angst shows you care, and that’s part of the show that is professional sports. Awesome from a 22 year old.

Stop drifting after you land. A lot of hitters think they need to keep moving forward after foot plant to create power. In reality, that forward drift often causes the barrel to work down through and under the ball. Instead, rotate behind your contact point. Keep your head stable, create more space, and give the barrel a better path through the zone. HEAD - down and back slightly OK✅ MOVING FORWARD AS YOU SWING❌ Train with an expert, not an influencer.

Scott Jennings brings the screeching CNN panel back down to earth with a cold dose of common sense on the Iran deal. JENNINGS: “Look, my view of the Iranians, is this.” “A, I don’t like the idea of them having any financial relief because they take money and then they put it into terrorism.” “Number two, I don’t think you can trust the Iranians.” “Number three, I don’t think an Iranian signature is worth all that much...” “The ONE and ONLY thing that I’ve ever wanted out of any of this was that they cannot have or ever get a nuclear weapon.” “That’s been the president’s top objective. I trust the president on that, and I know that’s what he wants out of the deal.” “If we end up doing things, though, that on the back end enable them to do any kind of rebuilding of any terror network, or any ability to terrorize us or anyone else, I would not be happy with it.”

Jim Simons's five principles (RIP): “Be guided by beauty. Just as a great theorem can be very beautiful, a company that’s really working very well, very efficiently, that can be beautiful. Surround yourself with the smartest and best people you possibly can. Let them do their thing. Don’t sit on top of them. If they’re smarter than you, all the better. Do something original. Don’t run with the pack. If everyone is trying to solve the same problem ... don’t do that. Don’t give up easily. Stick with it. Stick with it not forever, but really give it a chance to get where you’re going. The final principle is hope for good luck. That’s the most important principle"

Nick Fuentes say who he think is the #1 beneficiary to the theory that modern jews are not the real jews. Biggest loser? White Europeans. He also explains why this line of thinking is deeply flawed. “You don’t need to invent some esoteric satanic cult. You don’t need to invent some interloping other ethnicity. This is who they are.” “You know where this idea comes from that they can have Greater Israel? It comes from the Hebrew Bible. You know where this idea comes from that they’re going to wipe out all their enemies? That’s the story of Amalek…in a word it comes from Judaism.” “This perverse bastard religion, that did not accept the messiah. That’s what Judaism is. It is a bastard religion.” “What they call Judaism: Halachot, what they call the law, the Talmud, is a bastardization.” “So who are we trying to protect when we say it’s not those real jews? I’m sorry what’s a real jew? The Pharisees that put Him on the cross? That’s a real jew? We’re supposed to be ok with that?” “They don’t have the Logos. They don’t have Christ. They don’t have the light of God. So how could it be anything but corrupted and perverted.” “No, I’m sorry. We’re not going to blame White people. Not gonna happen.” “I see this narrative being promoted. Don’t be deceived. They do it with Epstein. They do it with Netanyahu.”

Richard Sherman shares his concerns with the 49ers interior offensive line: “They didn’t strengthen it and now we’re a week away from the season and they’re trading for interior offensive linemen because it’s an obvious place of concern. We knew that two years ago. That’s the part where I don’t really get it. You’re about to go against the most dynamic defensive lines in the league in LA and Seattle. Two of the most incredible Dlines in the league and you’re just gonna say 'Hey, we’ll figure it out as we go', against Aaron Donald, against Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy, Jarran Reed. That’s what you’re gonna go with? That’s the plan?” 🎥: Richard Sherman

I don’t think most of you have seen this clip. This is how the fuel came out. JFK. End of August. Air China 747-8, B-2486. They were filling her for Beijing. Truck moves. Hoses still on.. That’s a live coupling getting yanked. If that vehicle can move while it’s plugged in, that’s the problem

“Are you aware that the DNA from the scene consisted of a mixture of at least five individuals?” (paraphrasing only slightly). Is that an established fact? I don’t believe that’s an established fact. Asking a loaded question to an improper “expert” based on a non-established (contested) “fact” is the basis of a legitimate objection. “Objection: assumes facts not in evidence”. Unless that fact is in evidence, and I am not aware of it.

Aaron Donald says he walked away from $30,000,000 guaranteed because he wasn’t willing to take it without the drive to earn it “I’m a guy that train all year round. I’m not a guy that, I might take a week off after the season’s over, and I’m in the weight room. I’m training again. So it’s non-stop work for me. It’s a lot that go into it that the world don’t get to see. A lot of people don’t see it. And it’s like you get exhausted after a while.” “And I don’t got the urge to go through 17 games again. I just don’t got the urge to play football, and it’s a disservice to me to just go out there for a check.” “This amount of money on the table, I can just get that and be done, and just get by. That’s not the way I’m built. That’s not the way I am. And I can’t disrespect the game, because it did so much good for me.”

🚨 THE TIP SCREEN IS LYING AGAIN — AND THEY KNOW YOU WON’T CHECK “The math is NOT mathing.” A woman films her Chili’s bill: $35.48. She taps 18%. The screen shows: $6.96 Her husband pulls out his phone. 35.48 × 18% = $6.38 That’s not rounding. That’s not tax confusion. That’s a completely different number hiding behind a percentage button. Now zoom out. • Thousands of tables a day • Preset buttons • One-tap payments • Almost nobody checking the math The system moves fast. You’re ready to leave. You trust what it tells you. And that “tiny” difference? Multiply it across every location. Every table. Every night. Every month. Now it’s not tiny anymore. If the screen says 18% but the math says otherwise… how many people have already overpaid without ever realizing it?

Howard Mudd’s definition of toughness is excellent: it’s not how much you can dish out — it’s how much you can take and still execute the next snap. That’s the part most people skip. They train the “I’ll hit you” side. They don’t train the “I got hit, I’m good, next snap” side. And that’s why the best offensive line rooms feel different. When the pocket gets chaotic, they don’t. When a rep goes sideways, they don’t spiral. They reset, communicate, execute, and go again. If you’re a player, a coach, or leading a team, steal this. #offensiveline #football #mentaltoughness #coaching

Gilbert Arenas says Chet Holmgren shouldn’t have made the All-Star team “Nothing against Chet but 17,8,7. Yeah your team is number one. We get it. But it’s a third option. It’s a third option player, right? It’s like, please get the first option players first, then you can move on to option twos, then threes. That’s exactly what Kawhi Leonard is doing, right? James Harden, right? The names that people want to go see. Not the third person that don’t get any focal point of nothing. You are not an All-Star player right now. You’re on the best team in the NBA and you’re doing okay, but you’re not dominating. You’re not like, you know, for most part, you’re playing an up and down. I don’t want to take his All-Star away from him, but this is why these are the reasons why players don’t play hard in it. You don’t put the real players in there” (Via Gilbert Arenas)
