This particular defense industry facility also specializes in the restoration, repair, and modernization of electric locomotives. Facilities like this require enormous power to operate—NELP boasts its own substation. We were particularly intrigued by the 110 kV power transformers: a single one could power an entire district of the city. We decided it was time for the plant to take a little break: the strike hit two power transformers at once, each worth half a million dollars!

Future of all interfaces on a two wheeler - voice! We have been excited about it for a long time. Ather pretty much invented the concept of touch screens on 2Ws (being the first to do that on a production bike) and we continue to invest heavily into capabilities and feature sets on it. But even as we push the envelope on that front (almost half of our vehicles today ship with a touch TFT and 100% ship with on-board compute and connectivity) we believe the future could very well be one that does not need you to glance at the display at all. Using LLMs and natural language processing and bundling that inside our smart helmets (Halo) we believe that being able to ‘just tell’ your scooter what you want can be super intuitive. In fact far more intuitive than stationary applications like mobile phones, laptops etc. On a scooter you can’t operate touch while riding and we would rather have you glance as little as possible when in heavy traffic or at high speeds. Being able to just tell your Ather what you want, especially inside the cocoon of your helmet (or on any bluetooth headset really) is a significant tech and experience upgrade for riders: Navigation: “Take me to Nandi Hills,” “Navigate home,” “Let’s go to Cubbon Park,” “How far is the nearest charger?” “ETA to jaljog choraha?” "Time to stadium circle?" Vehicle Settings: “Decrease brightness,” or “Maximum brightness,” “Change Traction control to Rain,” “Magic twist, High,” “Share my live location.” Calls: “Call Rohit” - This is fully integrated with your existing contact list. Parents, electric dirt bikes are NOT e-bikes. Walton County Sheriff's Office, Florida is seeing an increase in electric dirt bikes, also called “e-motos”, being ridden in neighborhoods and on public roads. Monday, six of these electric dirt bikes were impounded and citations were issued to juveniles 11-14 years old. Many Do NOT have pedals, have high-powered motors, and are designed only for off-road use. Under Florida law, these vehicles are NOT street legal. It’s illegal to ride electric dirt bikes or "e-motos" on public roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks in Walton County. Driving an unregistered, electric dirt bike on a public road can lead to citations, fines, impoundment, and a mandatory court date. Parents are responsible for making sure e-motos are used legally and safely. Even if it was a gift for Christmas and thought to be an e-bike, many of these are electric dirt bikes and the rules of the road are different. Allowing a child to ride an e-moto on streets or sidewalks puts them and everyone around them at serious risk. E-Bike vs. Electric Dirt Bike or E-Moto ✅ E-Bike: • Has pedals with electric assist • Designed for roads, bike paths, and shared spaces • Typically, lower speeds and requires less protective gear • Less than 750 watts • Can travel 28 mph or less depending on class of bike • Classified as a bicycle 🚫 Electric Dirt Bike / E-Moto: • All throttle • Higher power and higher speeds • Built for off-road terrain only • Requires full protective gear • 750 watts or more • Can travel up to 70 mph • Classified as a motor vehicle ➡️ NOT legal on streets or sidewalks Our goal is education and safety. After this 11th-hour budget deal was released on Friday at 7 PM, I spent the entire weekend going through it. It’s 600 pages long. Three major problems with the budget: ❌ This is a data center-approved compromise. Data centers are not required to pay the full cost of the infrastructure that is currently passed on to everyday Virginians through their electric bills. ❌ A 150% pay raise for members of the General Assembly. We’ve barely been able to produce a budget on time this year. What’s been done to earn that? ❌ The retail marijuana market proposal was a separate 250-page document. This should be a standalone bill we can vote on, not in an 11th-hour special session stunt. Bottom line: Virginia needs a budget – no one wants a government shutdown. But we need a budget that lowers costs, respects taxpayers, and protects families who are paying higher electric bills. I’ll be voting NO.

Well through your NJ electric bills! Starting July 1st 2027, a "minimum" of $60M will be collected via the societal benefits charges or SBC Might be asking yourself, what's an SBC? When first digging into why our bills were so high in February this year I had no idea, but They are hidden charges in your electric bills to pay for mostly pet projects The Board of Public Utilities or BPU, recommends the SBC funding level for 2025 to be?......anyone here know? It's over $344M per year in our NJ electric bills Why don't we go over a few these programs, Ever Heard of Charge Up New Jersey? It's a program that gives folks up to $4,250 dollars for buying Electric Vehicles and chargers. This is costing NJ residents over $30 million dollars a year in their electric bills How about 'It Pay$ to Plug In', this program has spent $100M since 2012 on EV chargers in your electric Bill! This program cost ratepayers $27M this year alone as an SBC Per year Electric Vehicle Programs total $82.5M, Clean Energy Equity costs us $16.6M, NJ Wind total $22M and Energy Storage is currently costing the rate payers $29.5M per year, just to stress again this bill your voting on today will jump it up to $60M a year at a minimum! More than double it's current total Why is all this in our New Jersey Electric Bills? Want to know the real problem NJ? Democrats here have been pillaging your pockets, nickel and diming you year after year for pet projects in your electric bills. Now with the rake hikes happening, they are frantically trying to steamroll multiple bills in committees in an effort to deflect from the main issue Since 2017 - 6 power plants have closed totaling over half our power here in NJ, Democrats championed coal and nuclear plants being shut down, betting on Windfarms that never happened, this is a huge reason our electric bills are so high here, we need sensible solutions, not a green agenda storage push that caused this mess New Jersey residents pay over $8,100 more per year than the average American Household on their bills and pay around $700 more per month in overall bills compared to the national average My handle receives so many messages, comments, concerns from citizens that are struggling daily, some working 2 to 3 jobs, this state is becoming more unaffordable each and every day, and bills coming out of this Legislature that add to that burden, are not good for the hardworking people of New Jersey We are already hurting with the worst property and corporate taxes, one of the worst income and gas tax rates, and the absolute worst overall tax burden at over 54% of your lifetime earnings being syphoned from our NJ residents How much more do you want to take from us? When a wheel starts to slip on snow or ice, Tesla’s sensors detect it up to 1,000 times per second, and the computer instantly cuts or redistributes power to the wheels with grip. On the other hand, gas cars have major delay and don’t have this capability… That means if your Tesla hits a tiny patch of ice, the car corrects it right away, even before you even feel it, almost like the car is thinking ahead. If you don’t believe me listen to the man that built it. Joe: “What happens if you get sideways in the snow? Like, does it correct for that?” Elon: “Yeah. Electric cars have really great traction control because the reaction time is so fast. So, with a gasoline car, you’ve got a lot of latency. It takes a while for the engine to react, but for electric motors, incredibly precise…. But to an electric motor, it’s operating at the millisecond level. So, it can turn on and off traction within, like, inches of getting on… let’s say, you’re driving on a patch of ice, it will turn traction off, and then turn it on a couple inches right after the ice, like a little patch of ice because in the frame of the electric motor, you’re moving incredibly slowly. ❌❌❌❌❌PLEASE SHARE❌❌❌❌❌ This is an heartbreaking 💔 post and one we need our followers help with to get out there, one to raise awareness and two for any information that anyone may On the 25/01/2025 a teenage girl was out riding her horse (Loki) with her cousin in Loft House West Yorkshire, on Lingwell Nook Lane on the old pit stack. While on the pit stack there was a male in his 50-60, bald head, glasses on and wearing a blue rain coat with black joggers on. He had a chocolate coloured spaniel dog with him that was off the leash and out of control, the young girls asked him to put the dog on the lead while they passed but the man told the young girls “ fuck off this is public land” as the dog was running out of control around the horses Loki spooked and started to buck, rear and kick. The teenage girl was thrown from Loki’s back just before he bolted to try and escape the dog. Loki ended up running out onto Leeds Road where he was hit by a car and suffered catastrophic injuries to his legs, his injuries were truly horrendous and all 4 legs were shattered. Loki fought to get up off the road but of course due to his four broken legs he couldn’t and sadly he had to be put to sleep in the road. The gentleman that hit Loki is absolutely devastated and his car a total write off. If anyone has any information on who this dog walker is can you please PM the page or ring West Yorkshire police.
