DoorDash driver was hunted down by an angry customer after DoorDash support mistakenly shared her home address. The customer then attacked her, damaging her car and leaving her unable to work. 😳

She could’ve went & picked up her own food with all that energy

That’s terrifying, DoorDash’s mistake put her in serious danger. They need to take full responsibility, cover her damages, and make sure this never happens to another driver.

Doordash didnt give her the address. Since the order wasnt completed, it was still showing the drivers location as if they were still on the way to delivering it. Im not calling the driver lady a liar but this is the type of shit that happens a lot, esp in the hood, bc drivers steal orders. Im confused as to why she thought she had to sit & wait for 10 mins? Was it a hand it to me order? Ope the apps not working, just knock on the door. Was a it a leave it at my door? Just leave it & go & deal with the app not working down the street. Not calling her a liar but...convenient you went right home after that order where you suddenly "lost internet connection" all of a sudden and couldnt deliver her "10 wings that didnt even have lemon pepper on them" But you didnt leave them at her door? You took the food with you? Why? Obviously it wasnt right to smash her car in, but as someone who has been a doordash driver & use it as a customer constantly, it feels a lot more like she thought she'd be sneaky & get herself some free wings

I think there was an error on the Dasher’s end, but damaging somebody’s car because your fat ass wants some wings is DIABOLICAL & excessive. You got off yo ass to find the driver but not go get the food yourself (AT THIS POINT) and request the refund through DoorDash. Now you’re getting charges. Stupid ass. It’s NEVER that deep.

Don't take customer food cause you mad they didnt tip. Customer food is prepaid and thus their property. By accepting responsibility to deliver, you are carrying from point A to point B. You don't own the right to steal it. That customer was hangry

It's Door dash fault but as someone who used to do it. This sounds fishy. She didn't wanna complete the order so GPS kept tracking her. Idk why but some steps where missed

Shawty stole the food lol this happened to me. Mof got my food took it home forgot to hit complete and was showing there address. Called the mof and he was like o wait I forgot and all this other bs. It’s on both the dasher and customer. I worked Instacart shit not difficult

The customer being lazy enough to pay extra money for somebody to drop off their food is one thing, but for anger and a misunderstanding to actually get you out of the house and pass the place that you could’ve gotten the food from yourself to damage someone’s property is another

1. You have a 2024 & don’t have full coverage? 2. Why do you have kids door dashing with you. I’m sure that’s against policy. 3. Why were you waiting 10 minutes? You can leave the food at the address & take a picture. 4. Why did you take food home & what did you do with it?

Doordash would have given her a refund for that item if she would have reported it missing. Also this is an insane oversight because I have never ever seen anything about a driver but the name, rating and photo. How tf can they show her address that is crazy. SUE GIRL ❤️

The lady shouldn’t have caused damages to her car, but why didn’t the dasher just drop the food off since she already arrived at the location and take a picture to upload once service/connection resumed?
