He could've just not accepted the order. Now he's going to get a bad rating, a chargeback on his tip and his profile reported.

Never, ever, use a food delivery service where the tip is given before the delivery. Cheap tip givers have no idea how much delivery driver spit they have eaten...

Word of advice: When you're having complete strangers spend time alone in their cars with food that they are delivering to you... tip well.

I have never got my food delivered. This is the most retarded thing introduced to an already lazy society. If you are lazy enough to get your own food, don't be a cheap motherfucker and leave a good tip.

What’s the purpose of tipping? By tipping, you let employers keep wages low, thus forcing workers to rely on tips to make ends meet. If everyone stopped tipping, no one would work at these places, and they would have to raise salaries Is it that hard to understand?

One of these days, I'm going to end up on one of these... it fucking sucks when you are scraping by with gas, and you are almost making profit, and some cheap ass lazy fuck has you drive 15 miles (8 miles out of town and 8 back), wasting your time and gas giving them free delivery.

I would not expect tips for any job I would base my income on the base line they pay because most cant afford to tip and likely car issue or children dont want to head out to grab milk ect...

uber caps their driver trip payout to $2 per mile max, goes down from there depending on time. You can tell, because large orders get similar payout to smaller orders. They are 100% skimming tips no doubt.

He was pretty tame w/ no tampering. Low tipping a DoorDash order that gets picked up by a random person that has possession of your food & no formal obligation to anything other than a gig app with ratings is a brave thing to do.

He did this to himself. He knew he was only going to make 4 dollars for that delivery when he accepted the job. With that being said, f this 1–2-dollar tipping bs. Back in the 90's it was 5 dollars min which is about 12 bucks in today's money. Now, lazy mofo's want slaves to hand deliver them a single chicken tender 15 miles away for free... PATHETIC!

I don’t have to tip. DD charges for services/delivery fees too. “Dashers” YOU have the OPTION of choosing to pick it up and bring it. If you don’t like the wages, get another job. Or don’t accept the order. I always tip well, but geez if you’re bringing me a sandwich…RELAX.

i mean a $2 tip is pretty cheap like if you cant tip at minimum $5 then dont order delivery just pick it up yourself be lazy or be cheap but dont be both now to be fair this driver could have not accepted the order or canceled it at anytime
