The treasury can easily cross reference SSN’s to see if they are valid for work both for W2, 1099s and LLC’s. Immigration problem solved in 5 min with one computer query. Obviously there is a reason they don’t want to do this. Maybe cause they collect taxes and play politics.

I stopped ordering food delivery to my house because the drivers NEVER speak English and get lost every single time...

I live in the greater Sacramento area and I would say that DoorDash employees are almost all illegal.

While you are right about the wages. First, Those jobs belong to Americans or people who are here legally to work. Should we shut down the government for letting illegals work? What is the right ingredient for a wrong?

But how will shut-ins get delivered overpriced fast food?

Instacart also has illegals and have for years. They struggle with the orders and ask other shoppers for help.
