Double Dribble (1986)

@retro_gamess Im 46 and still randomly say the opening "double dibble"

@retro_gamess @EricV_78 Just love the hidden automatic 3s in this game.

@retro_gamess Played this game for hundreds of hours as a kid.

@retro_gamess The best was “Double Dribble” generated by the 8-bit machine at the beginning of the game.

@retro_gamess One of the best NES basketball games nobody talks about

@retro_gamess Hitting that corner 3 all day with Boston!!! 😊😁

@retro_gamess I beat my friend so bad in this game, he killled himself in college 14 years later

@retro_gamess I had this. Right thumb 125 Left thumb 16

@retro_gamess 1983

@retro_gamess I remember playing this all the time with my brother!

@retro_gamess

@retro_gamess Wow… I’m old.

@retro_gamess Bang corner 3 Bang corner 3 Bang corner 3

@retro_gamess Holy shit I almost forgot about this game. You just unlocked a sealed memory.

@retro_gamess Corner 3!

@retro_gamess At the time I didn't think anything would ever surpass the graphics on the DD dunk.

@retro_gamess Loved this and Jordan vs Bird

@retro_gamess This game was special back in the day 😂

@retro_gamess NBA JAM was a massive improvement

@retro_gamess I remember playing this with my brother. He kept stealing the ball from me over and over, so I started mass passing it and he was like, "Stop passing it so much! That's shitty!" I was thinking well, it stops the steals so I am passing until I win. And I did.

@retro_gamess I was unbeatable at this game...owned it for the NES and knew where the 'sweet spots" were for 3 pointers.

@retro_gamess @RapidReplays @Garnet478 basketball no 2k

@retro_gamess @CaroBucks Was a legendary game.

@retro_gamess Arch rivals >>

@retro_gamess @PascalgarL

@retro_gamess I remember this 🥹

@retro_gamess Corner 3 glitch

@retro_gamess Our mom made us play this with the sound off for obvious reasons.

@retro_gamess @CoachBrian13 I never heard of this this is my life. I feel a bit more completed

@retro_gamess The best still for that dunk animation

@retro_gamess

@retro_gamess Fn annoying the CPU always Boston

@retro_gamess For me this was basketball version of Tecmo Bowl. This game was perfection. Maybe Tecmo Bowl was the football version of Double Dribble, can't recall which was first (but think it may have been Double Dribble now that I've posed the question).

@retro_gamess The blades of steel of basketball

@retro_gamess @HallTechSports1 Got to the point where I was winning every game like 100+ to 8. Dunk, steal, dunk, steal...
