I'll let you in in a secret: JSON wasn't revolutionary nor hard to invent. Folks should really stop using this as a point of merit to intro Crockford.

Douglas Crockford also had ample experience in programming, in JavaScript in particular, which is what's the focus of the video. To call him as the creator of JSON, is probably not because of the merits of JSON itself, but merely as a way to identify him.

Something is already brewing on the side of LLVM open source compiler. I heard it's already possible to use even C for web development. I think that's where we are moving on to: a multilanguage paradigm.

@carlosenog É verdade. Uma linguagem sem nenhuma pretensão que depois de obter inúmeras melhorações deu origem a inúmeros pretensiosos. Hoje em dia virou quase uma religião para alguns. Fico triste de ver este fanatismo.
