That has nothing to do with N. E. S. or W. That is a bad parenting issue and the parents not teaching the children manners, courtesy and common decency. I lived all over the country and manners don’t change.

This is how I was raised, when you enter a room you speak to the people that are there. It’s proper etiquette, why would you want someone in your home who doesn’t speak to you?

Yea we fight too so u not saying anything foreign bro. Try it if u want.

Idk what he taloning bout people up north are raised to speak when walking in people house are taught to say yes instead of what say thank you when someone opens the door the only thing o wasn’t raised to do was call people miss or sir and we rarely say ma’am

That aint ERRYBODY up north. That's only CERTAIN folks that aint had no home trainin' (if you pickin' up what I'm puttin' down) 👀👀👀👀

But it’s not a North thang it’s a people thing I know southern people who are rude as well

That’s all black ppl not just down south o

Coming in your house and speaking to everybody and saying thank you after somebody holds the door are different though...that's just manners no matter where you are 💯💕

So true 🤣💯 1st time in school in NC, from DC, people were speaking and at 1st I thought they thought I was somebody they knew 🤣 I used to genuinely wonder why they were smiling and saying hi....I love it though!!!!

southern hospitality is fake asf 😭😂

I’m happy my Mom taught me these small courtesies as a kid another one is don’t just stare if you make 👁️ contact speak smile something Tf y’all got going on walking into someone’s house and not speaking? I’m not saying greet EB individually but say Hi Everyone Hello something

No home training...manners

GTFOH southern hospitality is LONG GONE y’all RUDE AF!!!!!

This one of my biggest pet peeve’s with people up north ! I was raised by a southern women and was always taught these little thing . Idk what’s wrong with the rest of them folk !

It's true.

Family from Macon Georgia and my Great Grand Father wouod say ,the same one that dont speak is the same on that will harm you,

I’ve never met another northerner who doesn’t know how to greet ppl when they enter a house or know common courtesy . you must have gotten us confused with the west coast . northerners can be a little abrupt but we definitely know our manners .

I walk into peoples houses here and the people in the room don’t even look up. If you say hello they look right through you. That’s wrong right?

From Orlando !! No lies detected my momma dont play that

Honestly that’s not northern or southern thing like he said it’s common courtesy. We don’t play that in the north neither when someone helps you or holds a door you say thank you & you better speak if you enter somebody home.

Guess what. We dont care either. Who dont say Thank you? Ya weird. Every where people have manners and every where there are people who are rude. Control what you can. Thank you

I grew up in the Caribbean where common courtesy is a must, then I moved to New York where Walmart employees used to look at you like you stole something. THEY JUST WATCHED YOU PAY!!! Then I moved to CT when a sweet old lady said “thank you for shopping at Walmart”

@Buttercupjae This is a fact. My Dad was so strict with it he’d check you for not saying good morning and he didn’t give a damn how you were feeling. Speak and don’t wear out your welcome in someone else’s house.

@RealHoodFather 🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾 I was raised in Atlanta! This is correct!

🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 My ex cousin had came in our house we had at the time and ain’t say nun to me, just sat on couch— I said “WHO YOU?! WHO YA MAMA?!” I’m only a 93’ baby talkin like that 🤦🏾♂️ but nuhhh walk in my shxt and don’t say nun…im on ya ass bc this my space too mf!!

Frfr. I’m big on all that. I be quick to say I didn’t sleep with you last night. So why you can’t say hello or good morning. Or you welcome when I held the door for someone and they didn’t say thank you!!! Don’t play with me no manors having ass😡😡

@dezziefbaybee Yes love it

I’m from Chicago but majority of our grandparents and great grandparents are from down south and we raised the same way lmao I live in az and they asses is so rude here let me take my ass back to my roots

Don’t take a trip to Minnesota. They will close the door in your face! No gentleman there. Give me a good southern gent

This is a universal thing lol we was taught this up North as well

@thisdarealJT nah them facts people up north be rude asf its been a few times i done closed the door on some people and told em you welcome like lil bitch im not obligated to hold this door

Nah fr going back when I start my family

I was raised this way and then as I got older I would enter homes and people wouldn’t even look my direction😭 that’s when I stopped gaf about introducing myself 😭

@jameshaaaah Yall wouldn’t make it down there entitled mfs

That’s a black house moral code not just up north! We up here hate tf outta that too
