downsizing was a great movie. such an underrated, surprisingly heartwarming flick

One of the absolute worst poorly done movies I've ever seen in my life. It was sold as a comedy and was actually a depressing, bizarre, poorly written mess.

That movie sucked. They promoted it as a comedy and halfway through it turned into a screed against climate change.

They messed up his job. He says he's an occupational therapists and proceeds to talk about and perform physical therapy

I didn't see it until years after release because the critics hated it so much it seemed like it disappeared quickly. When I finally saw it on streaming it knocked me out. I know some of it is clunky but I still think it's great. I have all of director Alexander Payne's films.

It's like she basically watched @anjelahjohnson's famous nail salon bit and copied the caricatured accent to a T...

Very depressing and cynical movie dude

Liked this movie. I downloaded it back in the day when it first came out. Wasn’t a great film, but the concept was interesting. Kristen Wigg was great in the opening. It took a chance, didn’t work out. But they took a chance.

I understand folks criticism of the movie, but I absolutely loved it.

Love the southern Vietnam accent. If that is actual, that is cool.

It was such a good movie. Reminds me of the saying, “If everyone in the world threw our problems in a pile, we’d quickly grab ours back.”

There were a couple parts of the movie that I thought were really good but by the time the movie ended. I told the theatre staff how bad the movie was. I’m told it didn’t stick to the book either but I took the movie at face value and every scene just felt bad
