Kendall George is doing things that likely NO OTHER human being could do. Tonight, he had 3 hits, scored 3 times, and had 2 stolen bases. George has 67 stolen bases on the year and has his average up to .262 with an on-base percentage of .380. But, his on-base percentage last month was .408, this month it's .414, and he's raised his OBP by 10 points since the All-Star Break. Also, since the All-Star break, he's stolen 27 bases and has scored 18 runs. He started tonight's game by slapping a single into left field. NASA Chief highlights SpaceX’s key role in building America’s Moon base: “A lot of the roads go through McGregor, Texas. So you think about building out the moon base. A lot of the landers, the rovers, a lot of the scientific equipment, the test equipment that's going to build out and establish a moon base will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket, the stage of which and the Merlin engines are tested here in McGregor. But we'll take that even farther. The vehicle that has a great chance of returning astronauts to the surface of the moon, whether it is on Artemis 4, is the HLS, which is powered by the Raptor motor that's been developed and tested here at McGregor, Texas. So you're talking about everything from the infrastructure for building the moon base to what has a very good shot of returning the astronauts to the surface of the moon come through McGregor.”

Victoria Base in Baghdad hit at least ten times. The embassy struck too many times to remember. And still the rockets, missiles and drones keep coming. Washington calls this a victory. 🚨CYCLE SCORING ALERT🚨 Tons of folks sent this one in from the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets game, with Bryce Harper completing the cycle with this fifth inning triple. I believe this was scored correctly as a triple. This falls under Rule 9.06; Determining the Value of Base Hits. The key is Harper never slowed down at all and was going for third the whole time. One of the things the scorer has to determine is whether or not Harper went to third on the throw or not. He obviously was going for third regardless, and the fact that he would have been out is inconsequential here. The OS Manual states this: “Had the bases been empty, would the batter-runner have attempted to advance the extra base? If not, the value of the base hit should not include the additional base.” The answer on this one is yes, Harper would have ATTEMPTED to advance. Doesn’t say if he would have been safe. Since he would have attempted this regardless of the throw home, he was, IMHO, correctly credited with a triple.

This team was down by 7 runs in the last inning. They made a comeback and scored the winning run by this young man stealing home. 👏 This is why as a catcher, you never throw the ball back to the pitcher from your knees with runners on base. You always stand and take a look at the runner, ESPECIALLY with a runner on third and in this scenario, the game winning run. That’s poor coaching imho. It’s the little fundamentals that are coached in practice that add up to whether a team is prepared or not for the games. Where was the coach telling his catcher to keep an eye on the runner at third?

This team was down by 7 runs in the last inning.
