@aristotlegrowth I can agree with this Umar point. In many conversations I’ve had in this topic I’ve said the same things. They can build all these successful endeavors, but cant figure out how to build black super market, big box, pharmacy, etc.

I have never called a contractor to do work on my home who isn’t Black. Why? Because if we aren’t intentional about investing in Black businesses they don’t succeed and can’t scale. We change that when we invest our money through supporting the business. Each year I keep a track of how much I’ve spent with Black businesses and people. We should all look at how much we #BuyBlack so we can grow our own individual impact in our community. Black businesses supply Black jobs which help make our communities stable, resourced, and safe. It’s Black business month, #BuyBlack and do your part to help build a stronger Black ecosystem.
