If you actually knew anything about the VA then you would understand that the VA is one of several government agencies that is being mismanaged. No matter how much money you throw at it or how many workers they hire, they still fail to provide adequate and timely care to the people they are supposed to serves; Veterans.

Do you ever get tired of lying to your own constituents? They are letting the excessive and useless workers go and the millions of dollars that will free up will be used solely for veterans healthcare needs. This is a brilliant plan!

More than half of the almost 30 million men eligible for the draft during Vietnam were deferred, exempted, or disqualified. I saw a study about this several years ago indicating that the “draft-dodger” trope tests poorly. I hadn’t seen it used since the George W. Bush era. . . until now.

1000 out of 450,000 employees?

When was the last time you talked to a Vet about the care they get? I am a vet, 1000 workers is not going to make a difference. I have to wait 3 to 4 months to get an appt. And once I get an appt its only about 5 min then out the door. The care SUCKS, Vets deserve better.
