DRAMATIC! A webcam captured its own destruction as the Airport Fire engulfed the weather tower on Santiago Peak in the Santa Ana Mountains.

Fire was started by government officials doing unpermitted work.

Sooo no one thought to move the brush back off the equipment. Like a fire line?

This is wild! How was there not a plan to remove fuel so close to the improvements??

They made better webcams for nuclear weapons testings.

Except, it wasn’t destroyed. All cameras on Santiago Peak are still functioning. #AirportFire

We are supposed to believe this? How about Calif Home Mortgage Insurance Companies doing their so called annual rebuild costs as they ask you to video tape your home take photos etc etc literally months before these fires.Everyrime a fire hits they will raise rates and or cancel

Perhaps add some water tanks on the rebuild .
