☀️🌙 Are you watching the eclipse today? Today, April 8, the moon will pass between the earth and the sun, creating a shadow that will cause a total solar eclipse over the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

October 4th, 2013, the Kansas Lottery 98.9. On lap 18 coming out of turn 2 and onto the backstretch, Corey LaJoie would get into the back of Scott Lagasse, Jr. This would cause Lagasse to spin out and hit the outside wall. LaJoie would also hit the outside wall. Frank Kimmel would go on to win the race. #nascar #kansas #crash

Hey, Flat Earthers - I have a challenge for you. Late tonight and into early tomorrow morning, we’re going to have a lunar eclipse. Here in the Eastern time zone: • Partial eclipse begins: 10:33 PM EDT • Maximum eclipse: 12:12 AM EDT • Partial eclipse ends: 1:51 AM EDT At maximum, about 96% of the Moon will be inside Earth’s dark shadow. Under the conventional model, this one’s pretty simple: the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, and Earth’s shadow sweeps across the Moon. Millions of people across North and South America and parts of Europe and Africa will be able to watch it happen. But you say the Earth is flat. So explain it. And I’ve made this ridiculously easy for you. I built a little interactive model you can play with. You have a Sun. You have a Moon. You have your flat Earth. Move them anywhere you want. Change the size of the Sun and Moon together. Move either one wherever you like. Raise them. Lower them. Move them closer or farther away. Hell, I’ll even let you tilt the flat Earth disc, rotate it, turn it sideways or flip the entire thing over. I’m giving you essentially complete freedom to arrange your flat-Earth system however you think it needs to be arranged. Your challenge is simple: Reproduce what we’re about to observe. Put the Sun, Moon and flat Earth wherever you want and show us how that arrangement produces the Earth’s shadow moving across the Moon the way millions of people will actually see it tonight. No equations required. No appeals to NASA. No CGI excuses. No arguing about photographs. Just geometry. Here’s the model. Show us what you’ve got.

I had this weird idea and decided to turn it into a shader xD It lets you grab pieces of the world! For now it’s just a solid base, but I’m planning to play around and expand it in the future. #VRChat #VRC #Shader #Unity

On April 8, a total solar eclipse will happen over parts of Canada. Remember Bonnie Tyler's “Total Eclipse of the Heart”? This time, turn around and put on those eclipse glasses for a safe and mesmerizing show! More info: 📷: CSA

July 28th, 2007, the Kroger 200 Benefiting Riley Hospital For Children. On lap 69 coming out of turn 4 and onto the front stretch, Scott Lagasse Jr. would come up into Brad Coleman. This would cause both Coleman and Lagasse to hit the outside and stay up against the wall until turn 1. Jason Leffler would go on to win the race. #nascar #indianapolis #crash

This machine is a perfect representation of humanity’s current state. A million-dollar marvel coordinating a thousand individually actuated punch elements to turn flat steel into computationally optimized geometries, with the pin coordinates scrawled on the side in Sharpie.

October 5th, 2014, the Hollywood Casino 400. On lap 122 coming out of turn 4 and onto the front stretch, Dale Earnhardt Jr. would blow a right front tire. This would cause Earnhardt to hit the outside wall hard. Joey Logano would go on to win the race. #nascar #kansas #crash
