The fact that the initial pass leaves no wall means all the dummying was completely pointless and the final shot was actually more difficult than if he’d just hit the initial touch in a straight line!

That shoulder drop is filthy — the wall just vanished and he drove the gap like it was empty

Notre Dame LB coach Max Bullough - LB Zone Drop Technique/Drills - Rip, Punch & Burst to get into drop. - Drive for depth, set when QB sets. - QB front shoulder tells you where, QB front hand tell you when. - Ball in the air = punch through the hands, don't swat. LFG Foundation

Some hitters constantly pull off the ball or get spinny. One reason could be related to Motor Shoulder. Every athlete has one shoulder that naturally sits slightly in front of the other. That shoulder often becomes the one that helps drive direction during rotation. In Motor Preferences we commonly see two patterns (with nuance): Back Motor Shoulder Keep the shoulders more in line with the pitcher so the back shoulder can work through and drive direction. Front Motor Shoulder Allow the athlete to load the front shoulder in so when rotation happens they can maintain direction through the middle of the field. The goal isn’t to force the same swing. It’s understanding the ranges of motion the athlete naturally organizes around and coaching toward them. We go deeper on Motor Shoulder and Motor Preferences in the Level 1 Baseball/Softball eCourse.

President Trump just revealed that he's MADE HISTORY with the trade deficit: "We cut it by 59% this year, our trade gap. It's the largest drop of a trade gap." "Think of it. It's the largest drop in history, the history of our country. 59%. Can you believe it?"

Still working through the specifics, but we like 'flat back drive' going 'through' the runner, not 'to' the runner with horizontal movement. Same foot / same shoulder with shoulder strike and clamp. Good progression here. .Andrew Ryland .Richie Gray .Adam Archuleta

Staying behind the ball and letting it travel! This is a great drill to use if your player is struggling with pulling their front shoulder out and trying to go get the ball out front with their body. It teaches them to stay back and drive with their backside. If they don’t, it will be difficult to drive the ball to the middle or opposite-field gap. Which is the goal of this drill. #baseball #hitting #fronttoss

First touch ✅ Close ball control while Running forward ✅ Drop of the shoulder ✅ Small gap open ✅ Shoots ✅ Scores ✅ The first touch alone shows you he’s got alot to offer right away, “Ye but jack he wouldn’t get that much time on the ball” trust me he doesn’t need it
