Tim Pool is right in his analysis. The officer was NOT in front of her vehicle until AFTER she backed up. The front tires then accelerate while they are pointed towards the agent, and appear to spin out on the ICE. This is all the information the ICE agent had in the moment. Also, there was no reason for her to back up to leave. The road was clear in front of her and the ICE agents were to the left and right of her car. The ICE agent only ended up in front because she backed up. This leads me to believe she wasn’t just trying to leave. Chat - what do you think?

Her son had arranged to sell a watch on Facebook Marketplace. The buyer came to their own home in South Bend, Indiana. She put herself in front of the gun and chased him off her property. Then, police say, surveillance video shows the coward turning and firing at her MULTIPLE TIMES as she turned around and ran back toward her house. He sh0t her in the head. Today, I conducted my weekly oversight of the ICE detention facility at 26 Federal Plaza. I was able to speak to a woman whose family visited our triage center after her detention, and was able bring a smile to her face when I gave her a drawing that her daughter made for her. ICE tried unsuccessfully to limit my oversight today and will likely keep trying, but I’ll keep showing up for immigrant families in NY-10 to make sure their conditions of detention are appropriate.
