Faster travel is exciting, but convenience shouldn't come at the expense of privacy, transparency, and accuracy. AI-powered border control will only earn public trust if there are strong safeguards, clear accountability, and reliable alternatives when the technology gets it wrong.

Dubai has less and less money to pay for all the workers in immigration and airport. Buying israeli and American defence is draining them and these war is not ending anytime soon.

A similar technology is used at American baseball ballparks. You sign up and register by submitting a profile selfie. Then the system will scan you at the entrance gate and will allow you in, along with the people in your group.

I'm so down for less time in security and more time in duty free. That said, facial recognition 100% needs to work done regarding different ethnicities. It's a world wide issue.

Bill C-22 (Lawful Access) allows the government to build a system that makes it easier to access your telecom data, your phone, internet, and other digital activity, by requiring networks to be ready for that access. The problem is how that system is being built. It is being shaped by government ministers, behind closed doors, and without full parliamentary scrutiny. Ministers will set the rules for how your data is collected, retained, and accessed — through regulation, not through open debate in Parliament. Bill C-22 is not just about access to your data. It is about control over the system that makes that access possible.

Everyone is saying that AI is going to take all the jobs soon, but WHAT IF that's just not true? A new study shows that AI fails at 96% of all jobs. It raises serious questions about the high valuations we're seeing in AI. I made a video exploring the disconnect.

Your recycling bin is lying to you. Most plastics never make it through the system. Some estimate that 90% don’t make it. So I introduced the Recycling Technology Innovation Act to change that with advanced recycling: tech that breaks plastic down to its basic building blocks so it can be reused again and again. No mandates. No subsidies. Just smart policy that clears the way for real innovation, more good paying jobs, and a stronger economy. Ross Eisenberg
