1/ idea → strategy → backtest → improve → deploy → learn For example, you start with a prompt, such as: “Create a BTC perp strategy that shorts after failed breakouts, uses 3x leverage, and exits with a 2% take profit or 1% stop loss.” Index converts your idea into structured trading logic, including entry rules, exit rules, leverage, position sizing, take profit, stop loss, and risk limits. The agent then backtests the strategy on historical perps market data. It studies where the strategy worked, where it failed, which market conditions helped it, and which signals created stronger outcomes. From there, Index helps refine the strategy through repeated experiments.

2/ Index does not generate just one strategy from one prompt. It creates an improvement loop where agents learn from previous results, compare strategy variants, and use that feedback to help you build better trading agents over time.
