Dumpster Divers in the Soviet Union would save x-ray films to make bootleg records of banned music. They called it Bone Music and this act of rebellion produced over a million records. I have 500+ (getting more). Quality is not great but I also some English spoke word stuff.

incredibly specific french house records that only I have memory of, pt. 5 this is a bootleg of the iconic You Are My High except it's not really a bootleg turns out it actually got released in 2002 along with other remixes, they just officially called it "The Bootleg Version"

A SURFACE LEVEL LISTENER IS NOT MY TYPE OF AUDIENCE-PUSHA T This statement is what I always try to tell rap fans who talk 1.) popularity 2.) record sales 3.) trends 4.) hit records/radio play Some rappers actually make rap music That’s is not for you.. They focus on writing metaphors subject matter rhyme schemes Story telling etc to relate to a audience That listens to rap music for those elements first A24 makes films for people that enjoy Great films and know what a good film is Dialogue/cinematography/esoteric writing etc If they wanted to make blockbuster films They would focus on fans that want Marvel and DC etc

Looper is a great film. Full stop. Not only is this one of the last great performances from Bruce Willis, this is one of the best science fiction films of the century. I said it and I stand by it. I also thought JGL’s career would take off from this moment but it never happened.

ROSALÍA explained why her new album doesn’t have a more obvious sound, like R&B or rock. “It’s just that, for me, I make music, um, also thinking about what I would like to hear. And I really love classical music, and I thought, maybe there isn’t as much presence of that in my… uh, not as much presence of that kind of music around me as there was when I was in college studying music. So I was like, ‘Hm, I want to, you know, make the effort to listen to more classical music, and why not make an album inspired by that and highlight how amazing this tradition is?’ But yeah, I think every album is an excuse to, um, get closer to things I don’t know, to things I feel I don’t know enough about yet.”

Washington Post and the AP claiming that Uyghur music is being banned. Funny because the song they mention, Besh Pede, is one i listened to the other day in Xinjiang. I also just went to a place called a "Wei Bar" the other day which is almost exclusively Uyghur music, that all Uyghur locals go to. No music ban at all here! The irony is that after 9/11, US radio groups had a "banned" list of insensitive or politically risky music. And also in 1989, the FBI tried to ban a record label putting out N.W.A.’s “Fuck the Police,” song.

Music Director B.I #HANBIN #비아이 #김한빈 #보이 Reporter: B.I joined as the music director, right? I felt that in scenes where the music was laid in, even when someone is k*lled, there were times fast-tempo, bright songs, or music that feels more like mainstream pop come out. I was wondering if that was influenced by B.I, and also what kind of discussions you went through to place that kind of music in each scene. Director: Music Director B.I actually already has a personal connection with Actor Jo (Byeong-kyu), which I mentioned earlier, they worked on a music together. I was introduced to him. When I first met him, he was already someone who had created many works with a distinct personal world of his own. He also has deep understanding of film and the script. When I showed him early edits where I had already laid in some music, he would take in my opinions while also bringing out his own style. Overall, I wanted the music in “Boy” to include a wide variety of genres, techno, pop songs. Having that kind of mix not only makes it more fun to watch, but I also felt that it matched the emotional tone of “Boy” very well.

This lady takes her son to the Minnesota Health Partners Clinic who is having a respiratory problem, his mother “demands“ a chest x-ray for pneumonia,which signals to me the child suffers from some type of chronic disease, of which there should be plenty of records generated. Demanding a chest chest x-ray is one thing your tone is another, I am sure the doctor has access to the child’s medical records and can tell at a glance the child has some sort of respiratory distress that will require an antibiotic of some sort, but she never gave the doctor a chance in my opinion…what say you ? Does anyone else have experience with this facility ?
