This woman was trying to break into the fashion world. She and her photographer were going around NYC taking photographs that were bold and daring. She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. She expressed she was worried she was going to fall. The young lady was more interested that the woman owns a magazine than she was about her own safety, she then proceeds to call her a Karen for their interaction. To me it seems like she was voicing honest concern, she wasn’t trying to cause an issue and it was in fact the actions of the young lady that was the cause of the distraction for those in the city that day. What is your take on this, was this a valid concern on the lady’s behalf?

I met this little person last summer on the streets of Portland. She had been on the streets for many years and was going through a lot of chronic pain. She was a trained attorney, but due to a medical condition was not ever able to practice. I was recently messaged by an acquaintance of hers, who let me know that she has sadly passed away. This is the sad reality of the streets. She was a very sweet lady and I met with her a few times and we used to sit there and just watch YouTube videos together.

She blames the internet and the content guys are routinely exposed to online. She believes that to be part of the biggest driver of the problem. Is she right? Had an interesting conversation this weekend with an older relative who's politics are "just be a good person". She's relatively wealthy and gives to the types of causes you would expect this type of person to give. She gives her time too. She is actually a good person. I asked her if she was ever concerned that the causes she gave to would reduce the proportion of people like her in the world. She said that she thought the opposite. That she was inspired by the generosity and kindness of others, and that by giving she would increase the proportion of people like her. I said I believed she inspires her peers, but her peers aren't the people she's giving money to. Do they become productive and generous people, like her? Or is she just increasing the proportion of people who are takers and don't give anything back? Despite decades of generosity, this was clearly a question she had never thought about. The implications made her uncomfortable, and the conversation basically ended after that.

If you're curious about why the disconnect in men and women dating is so apparent, you can just watch this podcast. It was painful. Seriously. I suffered through it last night for the love of the game. This main lady here (I think is a Christian dating coach or something) just told on this podcast that a girl she was helping with dating as a coach finally became exclusive with a good Christian man. That same day an attractive successful man she met in Dubai on vacation texted her and wanted to fly her out to Paris. Then she goes on to say he was not a practicing Christian man. All to say that the devil tries to tempt people from getting into relationships! Now imagine being the current boyfriend and hearing on this podcast that your supposed innocent Christian gf gave her number out to a rich attractive secular man out in Dubai who was hitting her up randomly via text to fly her out to Paris. So the dating coach is saying it was temptations from the enemy and it's a good thing this girl "had boundaries." If she was a good Christian woman and actually had boundaries, she wouldn't be giving her number to random rich secular men in Dubai who feel comfortable enough to text her to fly her out to a different country. In my entire life experience, I can say with full confidence that more men are innocent and chaste than women ever have been. It's not even close. The disconnect is that men's poor behavior is magnified and handed out to all men to bear responsibility for it collectively, while women's poor behavior is hidden and somehow men or the devil bear the responsibility for it.

This young lady went to a local super market. Upon entry, it is store policy that you cannot bring any personal belongings in, like a purse or bag and such and other personal belongings. They treat it like a coat check in at a fancy restaurant. She shopped, and got what she needed to get. On her way out she stopped at the desk and tried to get back her belongings that she was required to leave at the desk. They told her they already gave it to someone else. Something tells me this wasn’t random, their silence speaks volumes, notice how they aren’t defending their actions nor are they apologizing profusely as a normal person would do when they make a mistake like that. Judging by their actions do you feel this was an honest mistake or are the in in some kind of scam to steal peoples belongings, what would you do?
