It is a big punishment to Yatri's & others to stand in que for hours for security checkup. Also vechiles are not allowed & stopped some 1.5 Kms before Pahalgam. It is very difficult for Senior citizens, ladies & children to walk this stretch. This is FYI & NA please.

Visited the cyclone relief camp at Uppada (U.Kothapalli Mandal) late last night as part of our continuous monitoring of #CycloneMonta-affected areas. Interacted with fishermen families taking shelter there, reviewed food, water, medical & sanitation facilities, and ensured all needs are met. Shared my personal number for direct support & instructed officials to accelerate relief work. Every family’s safety is our top priority. Hinglaj Mata Mandir Festival: Third Largest Hindu Gathering After India and Nepal, 300,000 Pilgrims Attend The annual Hinglaj Mata Mandir festival, (17’18’19’April)held in the rugged mountains of Balochistan, has emerged as a powerful symbol of religious harmony and tolerance in Pakistan. The event is considered the third largest religious gathering of Hindus after India and Nepal, attracting around 300,000 pilgrims during the April festival, while nearly one million devotees visit the shrine throughout the year. Senator Danesh Kumar visited the sacred Hinglaj Teerth and interacted with pilgrims while reviewing the arrangements. Speaking on the occasion, he said that thousands of devotees travel hundreds of kilometers on foot to reach the holy site, reflecting their deep faith and devotion. He stated that the Government of Balochistan has allocated approximately Rs. 3 billion (300 crore) over the past three years to facilitate pilgrims. Extensive arrangements have been made, including free food, clean drinking water, medical camps, and other essential services. Additional facilities such as mosquito nets, water coolers, blankets, and gas cylinders have also been provided for pilgrims staying in open areas. Senator Danesh Kumar emphasized that the Hinglaj Mata Mandir festival sends a clear message to the world that Pakistan respects and protects the rights of minorities and promotes interfaith harmony. He further added that the large-scale participation and arrangements strongly counter negative propaganda about Pakistan regarding minority rights, presenting a practical example of peaceful coexistence. He also appreciated the efforts of the local administration, volunteers, and the Hinglaj Mata Mandir Committee for ensuring smooth and well-organized arrangements for the pilgrims.

I came across this video of a public hospital in China and it honestly made me wonder... Why can't Kenya and other African countries build systems like this? In Kenya, a public hospital visit often means: - Queue to register. - Queue to pay. - Queue to activate your file. - Queue to see the doctor. - Queue for the lab. - Queue for results. - Queue to see the doctor again. - Queue for treatment or the pharmacy. You can spend 5-6 hours in a hospital even when you're already sick. Efficiency isn't a luxury. It's part of healthcare. Watch this video. It's genuinely worth your time.

We discussed our cooperation, primarily in the economic and defense sectors, strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense, and opportunities for joint weapons production. We are grateful to Israel for its decision to provide assistance for water supply systems in the southern regions. This is very important. We also hope for support in humanitarian demining of contaminated areas. This was discussed during the meeting. Thank you for your readiness to help.

On Sunday night, the IG FC, the local Brigade Commander, and the CCPO Peshawar conducted a comprehensive visit to check posts and police stations across the city. To ensure the protection of life and property in Peshawar, the Police and Pakistan Army are jointly performing security duties.
