During Question Time today I asked chris bowen whether Australia’s new $2 billion Hydrogen Headstart Fund will only fund green hydrogen projects & asked him to confirm it will not be used to prop up fossil fuels. Spoiler alert, it was a good response! #auspol #QT #Budget2023

@timinclimate @Bowenchris If you can have another go I’d ask why they’re still finding the Latrobe brown coal to hydrogen nonsense. But actually I’d ask why they’re still spending billions more on fuelling climate change (subsidies, gas expansion, etc) rather than putting out the fire
