@MwendeLinai @SingoeiAKorir @StateHouseKenya @ForeignOfficeKE @WuPeng_MFAChina @Chinamission2un @KenyaMissionUN @WilliamsRuto @KenyaEmbinChina Interesting discussions, it will equally be good to leverage on a regional dialogue between African countries and China ahead of climate discussions at COP29, and implementing decisions raised during the Africa Climate Week last year in Nairobi.

How China is helping Pacific islands survive climate change Climate change is a huge threat to island nations like Vanuatu, and China is stepping up its efforts. In this video, Li Minggang, China's ambassador to Vanuatu, describes how Beijing is helping on two fronts. On the ground, China is providing disaster relief by air and sea, has built and handed over an ocean observation station, and is setting up emergency shelters for remote communities. On the world stage, Beijing backed Vanuatu at the International Court of Justice and has set ambitious targets through President Xi's 2035 climate commitments. For Li, this shows China is serious about standing with vulnerable nations.

Inflaming the audience under the historical structure of the Eiffel Tower, Paris, France, with his magical words and superb presentation, President William Samoei Ruto, PhD is probably the most eloquent, greatest orator we have had at the pinnacle of power. Ahead of the Africa Climate Summit scheduled for September 2023 and advancing the Kenya Kwanza agenda on Environmental Conservation and Climate Issues, with a moving speech, the President took to a global forum, his campaign for the 'Going Green Movement' and extended invitations to the aforementioned event. This, here, is Presidential!
