During the surfing tutorial in Super Mario Galaxy, it is possible to jump off the manta ray on the first frame. This will put Mario into a glitched "perpetual tiptoe" state whereby he will be tiptoeing no matter how fast he runs, as well as while standing still.

Previously, I have posted about how in Super Mario 64, walking through doors has priority over death. This can be seen to an even greater extent if Mario is made to unlock a door with a key with 0 health, where he will perform the entire unlocking scene before dying.
