Unbelievable. Did they consult a Diabetes Educator on the proper way to manage blood glucose levels? If you found one who said through candy and soda I would never take one of my family members to them. I had no idea my tax dollars were going to this stupidity. If taxpayers must fund supplemental NUTRITION,as well as medicaid costs, then it’s responsible to restrict foods with 0 nutritional value that cause disease. Soda is the top snap purchase! Leftists activist judges yet again show just how wasteful&insane the Democrat party is now.

Any and all decisions by a federal judge can be appealed and many states have already enacted Snap BANs on those purchases. The activist judges who went on a blitz denying the Trump administration is the first opening salvo in an executive vs judiciary war, expect appeals all across the board. Supreme Court will be very busy this year.

Imagine wanting children to be unhealthy. 🤦🏻‍♂️

So what you are saying those 5 states will never have a fully charged electric shopping cart for their customers.

Pretty simple. They want to clean up the ineligible and actually illegal parasites of SNAP so those that truly qualified will be able to receive them and the program will not be as unnecessarily expensive.

Those 5 states are wrong. Assistance is to help you stay alive not give you diabetes.

The Judge is wrong. Tax Payers should be not be "required by small tyrants in robes" to poison the poor with unhealthy processed sugars.
