Do you have a rough estimate of how high the oceans will go over land?

Not at this point. We are not sure of the duration of the rotation, so when fluid simulations can (maybe) be run on this scale, it will be across a range of time frames, and then comparison made to geological evidence of previous events to try to calibrate the likely period. A 6 hour rotation would have a considerably different effect to that of a 24 hour rotation. The main factor is the relative shear velocity between crust and ocean.

You can see why North America is problematic. Higher population in a country with a good mountain range. North America is too flat.

I think Antarctica is mislinked. Shows Australia.

Thank you. I missed that.

An interesting result ( to me anyways) is that Antarctica becomes an equatorial continent, implying tropical solar incidence. Is there anything in the ice record showing this?

Simulating fluid dynamics on a planetary scale seems like an impossible task. It's going to be very hard to properly prepare for this event.

This should be getting more attention. Say one survives the supersonic winds and deluge by hiding out in the US Rockies... What then? Hunger games? Cormick McCarthy's "The Road" in real life?

What happens when EVERYBODY in the Western Hemisphere tries to move to the Amazon early 2025?
