Fuck this asshole. He is in on the botting, they can easily detect and stop it if they wanted to. But since Kick is really just a money laundering platform this move makes sense.

Wont solve the problem. Viewbotters will still viewbot to the maximum as they can still easily get their own statistics and show them to potential interests going ''Look how popular i am!''. It will just move the problem to the background. @StakeEddie

Hiding the live count fights the symptom, not the bot. Bots inflate the number you remove from view, but the platform metrics behind it are the same. What helps audit is showing trajectory over time — a flat line versus an organic spike is obvious.

Make sure you sort followers by our watch time too pls. Sorting by view count is how I know where my streamer is.

Only the honest people will hide it and the botters will fight for top views among each other. Viewers are still browsing through streams with viewcounts among others without. "Does this mean they got no views? but this streamer over here has 5000 views"

The app is barely functional and they still ignore that and try and make more Updates which almost always make the app worse. What a joke!
