I have no problem with this at all. Mostly because it's Singapore and that's a sane mini-Statelet. I trust they've done the math. Same thing in Oakland is not the same thing.

Until I see a way for someone to STRIVE FOR MORE (dream) without competing w/someone, we need to continue to have testing and feedback. Where we go wrong is ASSUMING test scores rank the kids. We need competition - but we need better ways to encourage love to learn.

What students need is to learn to think for themselves, solve real-life problems, and satisfy their curiosity by finding answers in a creative way. Teachers must help them achieve all this without having to compete with their classmates.

This is old video from 2018. They must have been a new innovation far from these.

The real test is real life, anyway.

Very interesting , makes sense considering the complexity of the future job market.i am learning way much more now than I did when I was younger, purely through passion, not to compete …

Without the feedback provided by assessments, such as exams, students will not be able to judge their progress. Where is the incentive to learn? Especially those subjects a kid doesn't like, but which are essential to their progress.

Bullshit.

Smart move
