I was with you until you said Corbyn was unelectable, if it had been left to the public, without the manipulation and lies of the mainstream media, and internal party antics, he could have been elected. He saw a far higher vote share. It speaks to how corrupt the Labour Party is, as well as those in the media, not to the electability of a genuinely good human being.

If you worst you can say about Starmer is "he's boring and a bit awkward" I say good! Sick to bloody death of drama and instability at No. 10. Give me good old fashioned boring politics that steadily achieves instead of a careening from one disaster to the next.

Corybn was unelectable? He was elected party leader multiple times. He grew the party to the largest in its history. When May called the election, it wasn't necessary, she did it because the party was convinced her majority would increase so she could get more done. Only to end up with a tiny minority government that was only possible because she bribed the DUP with £1 billion. 2019 was more a character assassination, repeated so often people believed it, combined with a promise to "get Brexit done" a weary country just wanted it over.
