I've put together a straightforward protocol that seems to work quite well for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A carnivore/lion diet works great for MS, but if you optimize a few nutrients and habits it can really improve your results and spur recovery. By just doing a carnivore/lion diet, there are now people who have not only put their symptoms into remission but have started to reverse their lesions on MRI. Some of these individuals will be in our upcoming case series on MS patients who are recovering using the carnivore diet. This full protocol can help even more. Dr. Chaffee's Protocol for Optimizing Multiple Sclerosis Recovery: This protocol outlines a comprehensive approach to supporting recovery from multiple sclerosis (MS), emphasizing dietary modifications, light optimization, and physical activity. 1) Dietary Intervention: The cornerstone of this protocol is a strict, high-fat, carnivore "lion" diet, predominantly consisting of beef and lamb, with 2g of fat for every 1g of protein, as detailed in my videos. All carbohydrates, sugars, and alcohol must be strictly excluded to induce and maintain ketosis, and to prevent further damage and inflammation to the nervous system. Ketones serve as the brain's preferred energy source and readily cross the blood-brain barrier, where they are converted into fatty acids, the essential building blocks for brain tissue. Prioritize grass-fed fats such as tallow, butter, or lamb fat, incorporating them into every meal for optimal results. Exclusively eating grass-fed meat is not required, these fats can be purchased separately. Grass-fed butter is readily available, as is grass finished tallow, and less often grass finished lamb. Bone marrow and even brain are excellent options as well. Wild-caught fatty fish is also acceptable; however, grass-finished lamb fat contains approximately 20 times the omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) compared to even oily wild-caught fish. DHA, EPA, and cholesterol are essential for myelin sheath regeneration on axons. 2) Nutritional Supplementation: For the first month, consume 50-100g (a few ounces) of liver daily. This can then be reduced to three times per week, with concurrent monitoring of B12 and homocysteine to maintain optimal levels. Maintain B12 levels between 800-1200 pmol/L or 1100-1600 pg/mL (American units). Homocysteine levels should remain below 7. If homocysteine is elevated, regardless of B12 levels, increase B12 intake. If liver consumption is not feasible, supplement with a methylated multi-B vitamin and/or sublingual methylcobalamin (methylated B12). Allow the sublingual dose (2000-2500 mcg daily for the first month) to dissolve under the tongue for at least five minutes before swallowing. Monitor B12 levels as described above and adjust accordingly. When testing B12 levels, discontinue B vitamin and B12 supplementation for approximately one week prior to the test to avoid artificially elevated results. Supplemental B vitamins can also interfere with other blood tests, particularly B7 (biotin). 3) Light Optimization and Circadian Rhythm: Optimize vitamin D levels and circadian rhythm by exposing yourself to direct sunlight for 30 minutes each morning, looking towards the sun (but not directly at it). Refrain from wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, or corrective lenses during this time. Direct, unfiltered sunlight exposure on as much skin as possible, including the eyes, is crucial, and multiple exposures throughout the day are beneficial. Minimize exposure to screens and artificial blue light, especially in the evenings. Wear blue-light-blocking glasses when using electronic devices or under artificial light after sunset. Remember that MS prevalence decreases closer to the equator; emulate these conditions as much as possible. Maximize vitamin D absorption by delaying showering for at least six to eight hours after sun exposure. Vitamin D is produced in the skin's sebum and can be washed away, particularly with soap. Absorption can take up to 48 hours, so allowing at least six to eight hours is essential. Vitamin D3 can also be obtained from wild-caught fatty fish and grass-fed animal fats. Monitor vitamin D levels six weeks from commencing the protocol, aiming for the high end of the normal range or preferably above. While supplemental vitamin D3 with K2 is an option, natural sunlight exposure and proper diet is preferred. Take repeat blood tests every 6-8 weeks in order optimize these levels and maintain them there. Once stabilized with your current diet +/- supplementation, you can can extend this period to once every 6 months. 4) Physical Activity: Maintain an active lifestyle. Nerve stimulation promotes growth and repair. Engage in as much activity as possible, gradually increasing intensity each week. As tolerated, incorporate resistance training and, if possible, sprinting. If walking is all you can do though, then walk. If not, then work your way up to walking. Important Considerations: Underlying Principles: This protocol addresses the root causes of MS and provides the resources and stimuli for tissue repair. The dietary and light hygiene modifications aim to halt further damage. The specified nutrients and light exposure provide the building blocks for repair, while exercise and light stimulate regrowth. The Crucial Role of Light: One example of the beneficial nature of light is UVA exposure. UVA light directed into the eyes (without glasses or other filters), stimulates the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which promotes brain growth, healing, and myelin repair. Proper light hygiene offers numerous benefits beyond BDNF stimulation, but it would be well worth it even if this were the only one. By adhering to this comprehensive protocol, individuals with MS can potentially achieve significantly improved outcomes compared to standard care. For the best results, ensure you are receiving proper medical supervision, particularly with regard to supplementation, blood work, and medications. Apparently the “Goth” community has something to say about Drakes choice in women. Stating that Pinkchyu is cosplaying a “Real Goth” saying she’s not actually goth. He opens with “I’m not one to gatekeep” then spends the entire video deciding who is and isn’t allowed to be goth. Funny how the purity test only gets this intense the second Drizzy shows interest in a woman wearing the aesthetic. Suddenly goth is “music only.” Suddenly it’s a costume if you profit from it. Suddenly the look itself is secondary. Meanwhile he’s standing there in the full visual uniform, making content off the same aesthetic he just declared invalid. The anti-sexualization point is real and needed. Treating alternative women like menu items is trash. But using Drake as the trigger to invent selective rules weakens the whole argument. You can defend the culture without turning authenticity into a moving goalpost that only appears when certain people get near it. Goth people come have this conversation please. It was like meeting someone I had known in another life. Despite the distance, him being in chicago or literally anywhere on the planet with his band and me being in Canada, we texted almost everyday. For the better part of a decade he was my favorite human. Effortlessly funny, Kind, generous, endlessly talented, so true to himself and down to earth. Someone you could tell anything to and he would never judge you. He’d listen patiently and be there for you. I’m still in shock and it doesn’t feel real. How could it be? We had just texted about how long we had known each other. “I’d do anything for you” I don’t know what to do with myself in the face of this grief but the only thing I can think of doing is to just run full speed towards everything I’ve ever wanted in this life because I know that’s what he’d want for me. But in the end, she submitted her nomination all by herself, alone at 5 pm. RCMP are investigating a multi-person physical altercation in a Moncton parking lot during a family car show on July 18. The only video released (by the family via National Council of Canadian Muslims) is just 23 seconds long, completely silent, and begins mid-fight. It does not show how the confrontation started or how it ended. In the clip we do see: - One woman repeatedly striking the woman identified as Muslim. - Another woman hitting the Muslim woman once with a closed umbrella - A man (who appears to be part of the surrounding group) stepping in and stopping the umbrella attack after the first strike. - Several other people clustered around, some appearing angry. Modern phones record audio by default. A short, silent, mid-confrontation clip released by one side is highly unusual and raises serious questions about selective editing. Why release only this portion? Why strip the audio? Claims of racist language (“go back to your country”) come solely from the family’s account. The video itself provides zero independent confirmation of what was said or who started the physical violence. Politicians and media immediately framed it as a hate crime. The public has been given a truncated, silent excerpt that omits the beginning and most of the context. We still don’t know what actually led to this. That should matter. Could the Muslim woman have started the confrontation and then found herself outmatched? What was being yelled during the fight, and by whom? You can see the Muslim woman was yelling something too. Evidence appears secondary when the preferred narrative (White aggressors, Muslim victim) is available. A man yearning for his feminine side in a jewellery advertisement? That's precisely what Mohanlal pulls off with ease here! Directed by Prakash Varma (veteran ad film director and the one who recently debuted as an actor/villain the recent Mohanlal starrer Thudarum), the ad's narrative starts with a routine idea - big star is going to act in an ad and walks into the set. When the jewellery goes missing, there are enough signs for you to see what's going on. But not the why. As in, why would a superstar "steal" that? The 'why' is the ad's highlight. This side of Mohanlal is familiar to his fans, from films like Kamaladalam and Vaanaprastham. While we do have men's jewellery (the Men of Platinum campaigns have been showcasing sports stars like MS Dhoni, Suryakumar Yadav, among others) being endorsed by famous men, they don't go into getting those men to demonstrate or showcase their feminine side. They simply use the jewellery within the confines of 'manliness'. And many jewellery brands use male brand ambassadors already - Malabar Gold (including Mohanlal as a brand ambassador!), Jos Alukkas, etc. have used literally the who's who of Indian male film stars already. In this ad though, Mohanlal seems to be transfixed with the jewellery, removed from a female model's neck moments ago, in a way that he not only remembers his feminine side but also embraces it momentarily... till he is interrupted by Prakash Varma. The idea is particularly admirable in these days of the 'Animal' and Manosphere where men seem to forget XY and imagining that they are the non-existent YY. The only other actor who can pull such a thing effortlessly in India is Kamal Haasan. But Mohanlal is adequately versatile enough too, for this idea. While I admire the gender fluidity showcased in the ad, the larger question is this, though: Would women prefer/crave for jewellery if it is shown as being craved by a man (who happens to be Mohanlal, no less)? David Hundeyin disagreed with her explanation and challenged her. That is a completely different picture from suggesting there was no answer at all. You are perfectly entitled to believe her explanation was inadequate. Hundeyin was entitled to challenge it. Nigerians are entitled to judge both sides. But journalism does not mean cutting the tape exactly where your preferred narrative becomes most dramatic. And the documentary record is there: NIDCOM publicly stated that its investigation concluded Itunu had been wrongfully incarcerated, that Nigerian mission officials went to Bondoukou, and that efforts were being made through the appeal process. Following her death, Dabiri-Erewa demanded further investigation and an autopsy. So, Rufai, where is the EMPIRICAL CONTEXT? If you want to reopen a 2021 controversy in 2026, fine. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all stop, but I can’t. I can’t because America has reached the terminus after a decades long journey in the quest for greed and power. The final stop has been reached and we must all exit the bus into the world the oligarchs and paid for politicians have delivered us to. A world in which the strongest survive and the weak fall by the wayside. Along the way they have stolen from the poor to give to the rich. They have dispensed with any adherence to the rule of law or the constitution they have twisted like a pretzel to fit their Christian Nationalist vision for a new America stripped of empathy, moral integrity and hope, for all but the chosen few. This is not the America that so many brave men and women fought and died for on distant shores to protect. This is a hollowed out husk of a nation once respected around the world as a protector of freedom and democracy. Somewhere on this journey half the population became infected by a malignant parasite that has burrowed its way into the minds of former rational critical thinkers, to produce a zombie army prepared to sacrifice everything in service of a wannabe American Caesar. In this new America there is no place for the poor the old and the vulnerable. There is certainly no place for dissent or human rights. Theirs is a society for the privileged few served by the many. As you alight the bus, you will be met by the military and Immigration enforcement officers who will separate you out into immigrants, dissenters and the compliant. If you are in the latter group, you will find no social programs, living wage, environmental protections, access to reproductive services, affordable healthcare or child care just a sign that says “ARBEIT MACHT FREI” (work makes you free). If you are not in the compliant group you will be exiled by the state to a country of its choosing. This is a new world in which compliance is everything. A world in which news media reflects the will of the new Caesar and social media is merely a propaganda vehicle for the state narrative, As for elections, they are a thing of the past. It’s like a dream where you fell off the cliff and woke up sweating and clammy with a start, to find the nightmare you had just endured is now your reality and the party you thought were coming to save you, preferred self preservation to the mess you now find yourself in.
