Elite fighters don’t always block wide punches. They lean backward, roll underneath, or step away to make the punch miss completely 🥊

The best defense isn’t running away from punches—it’s making them miss by the smallest margin possible. 🎯🥊 Elite fighters stay calm, trust their timing, and let precision do the work. That’s the difference between good and great. What’s more important: head movement or footwork? 👇

DeenTheGreat said it's HARD to fight MMA fighters and street fighters because they have NO IDEA what they are doing and just SWING awkwardly making them completely UNPREDICTABLE😳👀 "They throw different punches, they throw weird sh*t. That's why fighting MMA fighters is harder than fighting a boxer, they awkward and the timing is harder to get." Is Deen right or is he making excuses?🤔

I’ve learned that all great players have 1 thing in common. They don’t worry or react. They respond. Big difference. You’re going to miss shots…that’s a given, so why not focus on the adjustments needed to make the next shot. MJ use to always say “ you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”

A great example of “always turn your back to the ball carrier.” Miss your block, go to the next level. Especially WRs. When you peel back, typically get called for a block in the back or YOU make the tackle on the runner. Which happens here.

Always crazy to see the behind the scenes of fighters trying to make weight Dana White once walked in to tell Vitor Belfort his opponent was going to miss and Belfort could barely react because he was chewing on a towel with ice underneath to cut his last 1.5 lbs 🧊

This should be a moment that the backward, reactionary warlords within #TPLF realize that they will not make the youth in #Tigray cannon fodders anylonger. One of the warlords named 'Migbey' was emphatically told by the young fighters today, 'We won't listen to you'. Time for the warlords to go away!

‼️ROLLY ROMERO ON SHAKUR STEVENSON’S PERFORMANCE AGAINST WILLIAM ZEPEDA‼️ Rolly Romero: “It was a great performance, but the dude(Zepeda) has no power. William has 1 of the highest punch outputs in boxing, anyone that has to throw 100 punches a round to stop you…have no power. My niece can punch me 100 times in the face & I’d be sleeping. Real punchers only need 1 or 2 punches & you’re out cold. So, he just didn’t fight a puncher” 👀👀 #Boxing #StevensonZepeda 💥💥🥊🥊🥊 🎥: Boxing News

This is elite for teaching a fighter not to reset backward when under fire. You either slip, roll, and counter, or you get carried off the back of the belt. High risk, but the cognitive load and footwork synchronization it forces is high level.

If you don’t like the Syrian government, you don’t have to support the radicals; just stay away from my country. Terrorists are not rebels or freedom fighters; they are the new version of ISIS. Under this post, I will be sharing all their crimes.

"Everybody says that they want to be elite. But, they don’t want to do what the edge requires. The edge marks the place where you make the decision to do the things the average guy won’t do. Talent is a gift. Elite is a choice. Make the choice." Tim Kight

It's extremely rare that we get to see how fighters handle the moments right before they make that walk. Fascinating to hear Gable and Jon discuss how they deal with the pressure as two elite competitors.
