Bradford Bulls CEO Jason Hirst is now addressing the large crowd that has gathered inside Odsal Stadium this evening. My own thoughts on Jason are that is always a privilege spending time with this great man on this journey back to Super League. Jason has revitalised Bradford during his time at the club. He deserves this special night of celebrations. He really is a giant man full of class and humility. Bradford are in safe hands with Jason Hirst at the helm.

2B/SS Shai Robinson, Illinois State Robinson is my pick to click this year. He's battled injuries in 2023 and 2024, but a full season could see his name shoved up boards. Robinson has long boasted impressive bat-to-ball skills and zone awareness. He's twitchy in the box allowing a noisier load to work. He gets the head out and has inate feel for the barrel. Passivity at the plate can occassionally back him into pitchers' counts. Robinson has soft hands and decisive actions on the dirt that should allow him to play shortstop at a high level this season. He's a fringy runner and doesn't possess an exceptionally quick first step, so he may end up at second or third base, but it's a plus throwing arm that'll serve fine in either spot. Keep an eye on this kid.
