My head hurts :) I design buildings, so I understand the principles of your presentation, if not details. I engage structural engineers to prove the designs. Why do very smart people and politicians ignore the principles?

Ideology. It’s rampant on both political wings. I see humans as a belief sharing species, and beliefs are very hard to shake.

Elon Musk claims to have finished a 100,000-strong H100 cluster in four months. How likely is that?

I deeply hope that this will reach @elonmusk and that he will watch it.

@elonmusk I'm going to try working through some people who follow both of us on Twitter/X.

Where does this notion come from that economics is an extension of the laws of physics? That's the absolute dumbest thing that I have ever been taught. Why does anyone think that economics is a set of laws anyway?

You are measuring GDP as if it is all that matters. Elon is talking about the real world with real things happening, not spreadsheets. There is a real difference between 1 million people working on a F-35 fighter vs. entering the private sector job market.

Can’t that guy just say “governments can’t go bankrupt because their central banks can inflate their way out of debt” and save us a half hour of him building his model line by line?

No, because to use a technical term, that's bullshit.

great explaination....... but I doubt that Musk's extreme right agenda will allow him to understand it.... understanding reality (of money system) is not in his personal economic interest!!!!!!

Elon @elonmusk says he practices first principles thinking. The book I'm writing for him takes a first principles approach to money. My approach is as political as Galileo's telescope.
