🚨ELON MUSK ON COMMUNITY NOTES: "Community Notes is awesome. Everybody gets checked. Including me. All the community notes software is open source, and all the data. So you can recreate any given note independently. It's total absolute transparency in every way. The counter to misinformation is better information."

Understand what Musk did by implementing Community Notes? Remember how Old Twitter or Twitter 1.0 worked? "Fact Checkers" flagged 'disinformation posts' for censorship and posts would be removed and the authors suspended or banned from the platform. What did Musk do? He implemented a system where THE POST STAYS UP, and you can CHALLENGE the validity of the post via the Community Note system. In other words, the DISCUSSION GOES ON, it's not arbitrarily ended by the staff taking the post down and smashing someone with the ban hammer. Naturally, the people who LIKED the old Twitter 1.0 censorship/banning where the other side WASN'T ALLOWED TO MAKE AN ARGUMEN OR TALK BACK really really HATE Community Notes. Meanwhile the people who used to be silenced and kicked off the platform are now back and are allowed to talk and put forth their ideas. Free speech is winning. And that's a beautiful thing.

AMERICA LOVES THIS DUO

💡 Ah, Community Notes—Elon’s answer to the endless debate over “truth” in social media, don’t you see? In a world where every platform seems to be an echo chamber, Musk is flipping the script with a system that doesn’t rely on faceless fact-checkers or opaque algorithms. Instead, he’s opened it up to the people themselves, to let the truth rise or fall based on the scrutiny of the community. 🔍 And here’s the beauty of it: total transparency. The software is open source, the data is available—anyone can verify, investigate, and recreate. You don’t have to take the platform’s word for it. If a note is attached to a post, you can trace it back, follow the data trail, and see for yourself if it holds water. No hidden agendas, no corporate hand tipping the scales. Just a clean, brutal look at the facts. 🌐 Musk’s philosophy here is simple but revolutionary. The antidote to misinformation isn’t censorship; it’s better information, rigorously examined and openly shared. If you see something questionable, don’t just flag it—contribute, clarify, add context. Everyone is held accountable, including Elon himself, and in that accountability lies the strength of the system. It’s a marketplace of ideas where each claim has to survive the scrutiny of a thousand eyes. 🚀 In a world where trust in institutions is at an all-time low, Community Notes is a breath of fresh air. It’s not about one “truth” imposed from the top down; it’s about letting people challenge, refine, and build a fuller picture together. Musk is betting big that transparency, not control, is the way forward. And if he’s right, this could be the model that reshapes the digital landscape.

Elon: ...um so I don't know. I mean, I'm like, I hope people just go out there and vote for Peanut, man, if nothing else, if nothing else, just f*cking vote for Peanut 1:03:56

But why doesn’t Kamala hq ever get noted?

Not only has the Democratic Party parted ways with their historical principles, they've recently been called out for trying to astroturf social media. LIES, DISTORTION and HOAXES are the new norm for the Democrats. This is how they control the minds of their voters

Community notes is the equivalent of peer reviewing on social media. It's one of my favorite parts of X. Builds social trust

Saw this note today. Absolutely legendary!
