Trump: I hope we get cooperation from the courts because you know, we have thousands of people that are ready to go out. And you cannot have a trial for all of these people. The system was not meant that not -- we don't think there is anything that says… We are getting them out. And a judge cannot say no, you have to have a trial. The trial is going to take two years. No, we are going to have a very dangerous country if we are not allowed to do what we are entitled to do.

People must remain at the center of AI development. “I have no interest in building a super-smart AI that accomplishes some non-human goals. People should react. People should say, ‘Hey, this is what I want, and this is what I do not want.’ I do not think the issue is that we have failed to explain the benefits. We say, ‘AI is going to cure a bunch of diseases,’ and people say, ‘Okay, that is great, but that is not really my question. My question is: What is my role in the future? What is my economic future? What is my agency? Not good if true… Matt Gaetz says the Republican Party, and by extension President Trump, is beginning to accept the Idea of UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME “I will be telling my grandkids what it was like to order food from a person. — We have 7 million men who make their living driving today, those jobs are GONE in the next half-decade.” Where do those people go? “That’s when you’ll start to see calls for universal basic income. We will say there’s such wealth being created on these tech platforms and I worry that will zap the motivation in the country in a bad way.” He says republicans will want to compete with democrats on the notion of “free stuff”, so they will likely create their own version of it when jobs start going away.
