Neil deGrasse Tyson responds to claims that he said SpaceX hasn't achieved anything that NASA hasn’t already done: "No I did not say that! That's clickbait; I said that private enterprise will do what nations have done and do it more cheaply. If there is occasion for private enterprise to do something that nations have never done before, that's a very serious conversation in the funding room; How would Elon get to send his rockets to Mars? The sooner they understand that and the faster that they voluntarily disarm and aren't forced to have it taken from them, they'll be better off.
