Emma Raducanu on new era without Andy Murray “It doesn’t feel different at all. Tennis is unforgiving in that sense. No matter who you are, it just moves on. Of course…I watched him win this tournament but yeah, it’s fast paced like life - it’s old news the next...

Oh my goodness, she really doesn't like Andy Murray does she? But the most saddest part is she doesn't even seem to respect him. Even has a huge Djokovic fan, I can recognise the huge and powerful impact Andy has had for British Tennis, he's inspired an entire generation to play and watch Tennis. He is a true icon and inspiration and he will never be "old" news. Thanks for everything you have done for Tennis as well as your Mum, you kept Tennis alive in the UK and we will be forever grateful for that. @andy_murray @JudyMurray 🙏

At Wimbledon I met a few people in Tennis who had worked with her and told me Emma since her success and lucrative sponsorships she's become arrogant and has a sense of entitlement. She looks down on people and she's changed as a person. I can totally see the changes in her.

Haha - definitely here for the comments!! Imagine being a player and thinking “It just doesn’t feel the same without Andy 😭”. She says what she thinks - people hate that. Andy will respect it and already knows it. Fans will miss him but they didn’t ask about the fans.

But when Nadal said that no one is bigger than tennis in 2022 when Novak was deported from Australia, people were nodding and agreeing with him. Now when Emma says the same thing about Andy - people are attacking her left and right?

Aubrey Plaza compares the grief of losing her husband to a horror movie. Amy Poehler: You lost your husband. Aubrey Plaza: Yeah. Amy Poehler: You’ve been dealing with that, and you’ve been looking for all different ways in which to feel and find support. And I think I would, on behalf of all the people who feel like they know you and the people who do know you, ask: how are you feeling today? Aubrey Plaza: Um, I’m… I mean, right in this very, very present moment, I feel happy to be with you. Amy Poehler: Mhm. Aubrey Plaza: Um, I feel… overall, I’m here, and I’m functioning, and I feel, you know, like I feel really grateful to be moving through the world. Amy Poehler: Mhm. Aubrey Plaza: I think, like, I’m okay, but, you know, it’s like a daily struggle, obviously. This is like a really dumb analogy, but… and it was kind of a joke at some point, but like, I actually mean it. Did you see that movie, The Gorge? Amy Poehler: No. Aubrey Plaza: Okay. Amy Poehler: Horror movie? Aubrey Plaza: It’s like a sci-fi alien movie or something. Amy Poehler: Okay, okay, okay. Aubrey Plaza: With, like, Miles… Amy Poehler: Teller? Aubrey Plaza: Teller. And, um… but it’s like, in the movie, there’s like a cliff on one side, and then there’s like a cliff on the other side, and then there’s this, like, gorge in between, and it’s like filled with all these, like, monster people that are trying to get them. And, like, I swear when I watched it, I was like, “That feels like what my grief is like,” or what grief could be like, where it’s like, at all times, there’s like a giant ocean of just awfulness that’s, like, right there, and I can, like, see it. Amy Poehler: Mhm. Aubrey Plaza: And, like, sometimes I just want to, like, dive into it and just be in it. And then sometimes I just look at it. And then sometimes I try to get away from it… Amy Poehler: Mhm. Aubrey Plaza: …but it’s always there. It’s just always there, and the monster people are trying to get me, like Miles Teller. Amy Poehler: Yeah. And… and, uh, Anya… Aubrey Plaza: And Anya Taylor-Joy. Amy Poehler: Yeah.
