This resulted in students counter-protesting and demanding that the teachers return to school. Now, I support the right for workers to strike. But look at this picket line. Keffiyehs and Palestinian flags. An all-girls school in London has nothing to do with Gaza or the Middle East. Why are these teachers choosing Palestine over their students?

Despite the heavy rain, we were able to complete the event safely and successfully ✨ The children received additional school supplies that we hope will support them this school year. For the safety of the students, the school decided to send them home early due to the weather, so only a few were present during the actual distribution and captured in photos. Still, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our donors and sponsors, SUNKI CLUB was able to provide school supplies for 180 students, from kindergarten to grade 3. 💖 It was truly heartwarming to see the children receive Sunoo’s gifts with such joy, like they saw so much hope in something as simple as pens and paper. ✨ From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this possible. Brought my beautiful daughter Sara Marley with me to Johannesburg, South Africa! She visited the McBain Charles Primary School where she donated school supplies and school shoes to the 1st and 2nd grade classes. Before she left she read to and danced with the students who also sang songs for her. It looked like an all around special time! Sara also visited with some of the older students who are learning a trade, in this case sewing and garment construction and actually make the school uniforms! Sara left inspired, fired-up, and determined to start her own non-profit org in order to spread more sunshine wherever she can! Thank you to the faculty and students at the McBain Charles Primary School for hosting Sara! Sawubonaaaaa 🙋🏾‍♀️ to all of the students and staff!!! This morning all 490 children in our school (and staff) performed a surprise flash mob to “Proud” by Heather Small. The children have kept this dance as a surprise for our retiring Headteacher, Mrs Roper. Children and staff did an amazing job and we truly are PROUD! Well done!

Florida is establishing September 11th as “9/11 Heroes’ Day” to honor those who gave their lives for our freedom. Our middle and high school students, who were not alive during this time, will be required to have 45 minutes of instruction to learn about the attack on our country and those who gave their lives to save others.

“BIGAY-SAYA, BIGAY-BIYAYA: HANDOG NG TEAM KIRA SA KABATAAN” Guess what? After weeks of planning, excitement, and a whole lot of love, our second fan project is finally a reality — and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Team Kira is back at it again, this time with a heartwarming mission: to bring joy and school supplies to children who need them most. 🎒✨ Why school supplies? Well, we were inspired by Kira’s touching story. During her PBB journey, she shared how she was bullied in school and eventually found her confidence and voice through showbiz. Her journey reminds us just how important education and kindness are — and we want every child to know that they matter, they belong, and that learning is a powerful gift. Through this project, we hope they feel encouraged and supported, while also learning how important values are like respect, understanding and pakikipagkapwa-tao. We have already distributed school supplies to three schools: Dinet Elementary School and Calampisao Elementary School, both with 150 students, and Debangan Elementary School with 148 students. But wait — we’re not done yet! We also have another school on our list: Maytegued Elementary School, with 150 students. A total of 448 students, and all of these schools are located in Palawan. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this incredible project possible — to our fellow KiraBelles for your love, support, and donations. And most especially, to Ms. Giah KB💛🌻 for leading and organizing this meaningful initiative. Thank you for being part of this journey to bring smiles and hope to the youth!
