Even @energygovuk admits renewables will increase prices "in the short term". Also (though they don't say this) in the medium and long term Only people who don't understand basic physics and economics think you can run a modern economy on wind and sun

Senator Wyden: " We are in an arms race on clean energy with them. Are you going to be on the side of people who want to unravel this?" Treasury secretary nominee Scott Bessent: " China will build a hundred new coal plants this year. Senator Wyden. There is not a clean energy race. There is an energy race. China will build 10 nuclear plants this year."

Anyone remember this?

He JUST posted claiming it’s the rising cost of natural gas. So here’s the gas price graph for you

Miliband is the UK's own high priest of the proven* secular religion of climate catastrophism, like Kerry in the USA. In the name of this faith he takes on extreme risk and implements irrational and impoverishing Net Zero policies, for the FALSE morality of 'saving the planet'. * For a formal proof that climate catastrophism is a secular religion, which defies all climate science, even the mainstream/IPCC, follow the link in my profile; paperback and free PDF.

Cheap renewables are a scam

My Gas/Electricity bill was £533 in January for 3 people (one elderly) and a dog and this has been a mild winter. I also have 20 Solar panels and battery storage units. I think EDF Sunday Saver was a con.

Also promised zero increase in council tax. Promised that taxes wouldn't increase for working people.. Then said that the onky taxes they wouldn't increase were NI and income tax and blamed us for misunderstanding. Then we have taxes on Farmers they swore not to put on.

Outright lies. A fraud intentionally perpetrated on the public.

His policies will fail and the hard working people struggling to keep their heads above the water in this country will pay for his mistakes. Still, the train drivers are ok though, foreign farmers are smiling and the foreign aid budget still looks healthy!
