1) Drilling the N/Sea would bring us energy security. 2) Although Thatcher sold off the rights to N/Sea oil & gas, all N/Sea oil & gas sales are subject to 78% taxes. Taxes the UK treasury desperately need. 3) We have two other oil & gas fields that are totally owned by the UK Government & the UK government therefore have to right to sell it to UK domestic & business consumers at cost with exports being sold at whatever rate the UK government decide.

What about the tax take for the Treasury? What about the jobs in Aberdeen? What about energy security? These people are as thick as mince with their stupid net zero mania

Oil is globally priced Gas is not It’s not just about price it’s about economic / fuel security, jobs, tax, investment and balance of payments. If it’s profitable for Norway - not exactly a low cost country it would be for the UK. She is thick as a plank.
