Sounds quite true Interesting that residential electric rates in Southern California are between 26 and 56 cents per kilowatt hour Obviously, global abundance requires abundant affordable energy Ultimately the 26x - 56x markup will become hard to justify by power companies

I wish this were the case. Energy companies will never allow rates to get that low as they have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders.

That would be great, actually prices are kept in German charging networks artificially high 0,59-0,89€ cents (besides Tesla) this keeps TCO of EV fleet cars on price parity or even higher than ICE. The public need to be educated about production cost declines to make right choises
