Always happy to see design projects we’ve been working on go live. Enjoy the new brand look for Polar Signals Over the last few months, we worked on the company’s brand refresh, designed and developed the new website, built multiple apps to speed up brand graphic creation, produced a product explainer reel for the hero section, and created an extensive branding system so every asset feels consistent while still being unique to the brand. Polar Signals wanted to preserve parts of their existing visual identity, especially the original colors and gradients. We used that as a starting point, then refined the color system, created new gradient combinations, and modernized the overall look while keeping a clear connection to the brand’s legacy. We also came up with the new typography and grid system, and blended different visual styles so the brand could support a technical, information-heavy product while still feeling polished, clear, and professional. Proud of how the system came together. Stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes materials from the project.

The future of design is… engineering. All designers at Vercel now also build, thanks to tools like v0, Claude Code, and Cursor. They've been contributing to our frontends and apps for a while now. But over the past few months, the leap they've made is engineering the design process itself by building agents. A big part of shipping is getting the word out in a compelling way, especially on the X platform, the everything app. In the past, we used to spend a bunch of time hand-crafting images and illustrations for social cards. Our design team built an internal agent and web ui using v0 and Claude Code that makes this process fully self-serve. It even includes a previewer of what the final artifact will look like on X. It's called Leap. It's probably saved us hundreds of hours of work but also massively raised our quality bar. The artifacts it produces are beautiful. If you had asked me even 12 months ago whether our design team would be building their own design tools, let alone be this good, I would call bs. There was no master plan, or God forbid, a "sprint" to make this happen. It just took a handful of prompts to build and it propagated on Slack. Leap is now one of the many agents that helps us run our company more smoothly, built and securely deployed on Vercel for our internal use.

What used to take a team of 4 three weeks to pull off and cost over $15,000 is now possible for less then $3. These unknown team from the UK solved this and it’s finally out to the public. The major problem with creating design visuals with normal AI prompts; was that after every iteration; it starts to change a part of the design, the brand icons starts to change, the ratio changes, the logo starts to flips if it’s not horizontal. It’s hard to keep things consistent, that’s why so many design studios can’t use AI for designs. And these folks finally solved that, and totally crashed the market. Now vibe coders, companies and startups can cut down brand asset designs costs by over 99% and still retain consistency. Interesting time we live in.

Chinese Developers are currently building a R1 billion investment project in Riverlea where over 400 illegal immigrants have been employed. They work closely with corrupt community leaders who take bribes and sell our country cheap for their own selfish interests. These leaders have been going there to March pretending as if they are fighting for our people only for them to take bribes and continue to protect the interest of Chinese nationals who are here undermining our country and its laws. South Africans are unemployed and forced into a life of crime and substance abuse while extortionists disguising as Community Leaders are taking bribes and enjoying life while our people suffer. Queen Victoria and the PA team will be going back there to engage the developers, subsequent to the initial meeting. While Judaism and Islam have their differences, Judaism does not believe that Islam needs to be annihilated, conquered, or subsumed; rather, we believe that our harmonious co-existence is not only possible, but an ideal to strive for. Kudos to Nuseir Yassin (of Nas Daily) for doing this, especially at this particular point in time, where religious and cultural tensions are higher than ever. And a big shoutout to Aish Ha’Torah in Jerusalem and Rabbi Dov Ber Cohen for creating such a wonderful Kiddush Hashem! (Sanctification of God's Name) May we all be inspired to: 1- Argue for the sake of truth and understanding: which requires a LOT of listening, thinking, and enhanced communication skills. 2- Take time to embrace the essence of Shabbat: which is learning how to pause and enjoy how far we’ve come in our personal journey through life, and gain the inspiration to not only keep striving for more, but to enjoy every step of the process. 3- Embrace the value of family, community, and tradition: we don’t need to accept everything that we are taught; questioning and building our individual and independent identity is crucial. (Sanctification of God's Name) May we all be inspired to: 1- Argue for the sake of truth and understanding: which requires a LOT of listening, thinking, and enhanced communication skills. 2- Take time to embrace the essence of Shabbat: which is learning how to pause and enjoy how far we’ve come in our personal journey through life, and gain the inspiration to not only keep striving for more, but to enjoy every step of the process. 3- Embrace the value of family, community, and tradition: we don’t need to accept everything that we are taught; questioning and building our individual and independent identity is crucial. But there is something immeasurably beautiful about being part of a family, community, and tradition that we are proud of; especially when we realize the incredible meaning in becoming a part of something infinitely bigger than ourselves, while still fully maintaining our sense of individuality. Did I mention how the world needs more of this?!
